I'm having a hard time with my girlfriend, she doesn't exactly live close, but the biggest problem is she doesn't go to church and I'm not sure where she stands with God. So my question is what should I do?!
 
I think you already know, deep down. You wouldn't be questioning the relationship this much if it wasn't wrong for you.
 
You need to ask her about this, i would hope personally that he would be the most important thing in your relationship and if he's not part of it now then how can you hope to have God in your Marriage .You can't be passive you need to stand up and be a mighty man of God with Him as the foundation of any relationship .Ps Talking from the mistakes of not putting God first in my Marriage and the end result .And please pray and seek God on this issue one on one .
 
Well my thing is that I really do have strong feelings for her and I have asked her several times to attend church with me but she refuses on the grounds that she doesnt have permission and its just a little frustrating. I want us to be together but she is making it really hard.
 
What do you mean she doesn't have permission? How old is she?

If you don't know where she stands with God, ask her. I know it doesn't help you now, but this is something we really need to have answered before we enter into a relationship with someone.

I know you say you already have feelings for her, but if she doesn't know God and isn't interested in knowing Him, it will only become more dangerous and hurtful for both of you down the road.
 
Without Jesus the Center of the realationship its not right for us as Christians,we are not to be un=lly yoked or joined to non believers Gods Word Settles that.
 
Well shes 18 but still living with her parents so they still have say on where she goes.
 
Im surprised to see a christian say SPICE UP UR SEX LIFE...i figured as ambassadors of Christ we throw our opinion down to life his up just saying.. And to this young man..Do you want a long heathy relashionship? If so then the bible tells us to not be unequally yoked, and with out her accepting Jesus as her savior , your biggest in serving Christ just may be her...pray and seek him remember God nvr speaks against his own word.

If she's still dependent on her parents, far away, unsure about God, AND her parents don't like you, my honest advice would be to break it off. From the facts you presented, I don't see how this would work. It may not be the answer you hoped for, and it may be quite painful to realize, but sometimes it isn't enough to care for someone.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with spicing up your sex life if your married. So being shocked as to the phrase is just weird.
 
I think the sooner you break if off the better. the more you try the worst you'll feel later. I know her parents have a say but if she was serious she'd find SOME way to get to church with you. i'm sure your church has more then one service a week.

i think shes just avoiding it. and i PROMISE its SOOO much easier for her to pull you into the fun life of sinning then for you to pull her to God.

If God wants you to be together then you will be. keep that in mind when you decide what you're going to do.
 
I know as a single woman I ask God to bring the man Ill marry into my life I pray for his direction and his will not mine. And remember when one door is shut another opens...
 
True and Im not you know making excuses but say this is God saying that she needs to be saved and he put me in her life and her in mine so I could bring her to God. I know that there is the possibility she isnt the one and God has someone else planned for me but I just dont want to give up and her be the one and I let her go.
 
Well thats why we seek HIS will and we can only do that with prayer and his word..God will nvr opose his word NVR!! ...Now i would say ur first mission is to bring her to Christ before you marry her.If she denies Christ , then how muchmore will she try and snatch you away from him..You pick up his cross ..then you know its about his kingdom , not ours..I would nvr speak my own opinion but Gods..God will speak to you and if ur having doubts maybe thats the first clue he is already speaking to u on this issue..
 
you have NO idea how much you're going to hear stories like yours in the next 3 years. i SWEAR you'll look back on this and wish you had the mind frame you'll have then. but since you're still believing this i'm going to have to burst your bubble. (i'm SORRY! i REALLY don't wanna though T-T)

there are a BUNCH of people who say "i can change him" "shes misunderstood" "i'm showing them to Christ" and etc. and like i just said. she'll pull you down first. yes maybe you were placed in her life to show her Christ and maybe you've already done that. maybe by breaking if off with her you'll show her JUST how important God is and that you're not some fake Christian. that you really feel like this relationship won't work because God isn't in it. and MAYBE THAT will show her. if not maybe the sincerity you've shown her will lead her to Christ somewhere down the road?

There were MANY and i mean A LOT of people who laughed and ridiculed my best friend in high school for being such a devote christian. but 4 years later all of those people REALLY respect her for standing for her beliefs and are even coming to God because of what she showed them. you might not see it now. and it might take years. but God has a plan for EVERYTHING. keep praying. but i think we both know what you're answer should be .. . .at least right now.
