Yes ----True Christians will be Raptured just before the Tribulation begins -----it is a Pre---Trib Rapture
what about the many generations of Christian’s before now though ? They aren’t true Christian’s because they weren’t raptured out of tribulation they endured ?

It seems like as long as we’re in this world we’ll have tribulation on the world

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
‭‭John‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

seems like he was consistently preparing them to endure through tribulation in the world until he returned afterwards to gather his people and not lose faith when tribulation came upon them

So like Jesus is saying here when they asked him about this matter of jerusalems destruction and also the end of the world which was far off
“Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them. And the gospel must first be published among all nations. ( he’s telling them they are going to have to endure these things preparing them for them )

But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.( he’s promising to be with them and give them what they need to speak when it happens )

Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ( these things will happen because of me but keep faith )

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains: and let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter. For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: ( it’s Jesus telling them ahead of time what’s going to happen preparing them to endure it all ) for false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. ( he’s telling them pay attention I’ve told you ahead of time )

But in those days, after that tribulation, ( that he just explained they would endure and prepared them to keep faith when it happens )the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭13:4-15, 17-27‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you see how Jesus is actually warning them who believe in him , beforehand that they will go through many trials and tribulations before the end comes but they should keep faith in him when ot happens and be saved ?

but the opposite he’s saying that it’s going to come so keep faith when it does . “ when all this happens don’t let anyone deceive you there’s going to be many false prophets trying to but stand firm to the end of all this tribulation of the would in telling you about and you’ll be saved “

The apostles taught the same thing because Jesus taught them that

“confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭14:22‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Tribulation is something Jesus suffered during his time in flesh and blood and it’s something some Christian’s also suffer while in the flesh and blood not all chrortoans suffer through generations of great tribulation like the early church did facing mass slaughters and persecutions but if we do we have to endure it as Christian’s with faith is the thing

It’s different in this life for people of faith but faith is not about this world

“Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: they were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:35-40‬ ‭

Tribulation is just part of this world for Christian’s some face much tribulation and inherit everlasting life others face little tribulation and inherit eternal life because they were Ive at different times early Christianity was violently assaulted by Rome and Jews early on rome ended up slaughtering unknown hundreds of thousands possibly millions of Christian’s under Nero and Titus and the subsequent rulers

they were thrown into arenas with hungry wild beasts because they would ntdeny Jesus , hanged on crosses and burned alive soaked in oil used as human torches to light Nero’s garden circus hanged burned boiled killed by the sword by wild beasts starved ect this happened for bout a solid thirty years and less happened for another two hundred years of Romes thereafter failing power when it was a state sponsored law to persecute Christian’s

“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:19‬

None of them who endured those things were ever raptured to keep them from them

there’s a gigantic difference in tribulation and Gods wrath to come we’re going to be saved from the wrath to come but tribulation is part of the world it’s been happening for two thousand years to Christian’s it will happen until the end

Perhaps the Day of the LORD is all of the 7th millennium? Or it is the final year of the 7 year tribulation? Or it is the 7th day of the week? Or it is all of these things. All of these 7's are in line with the Covenant oath. We also have the 7days of Feast of Tabernacles, 7 days of Feast of Unleavened Bread and 7 weeks plus 1 day to Pentecost/Shavuot. We also have 7 x 7 years = 49 years plus 1 day equals one Jubilee Cycle (where each Jubilee, the 1st day of the next cycle of 49 or stated as the 8th day, restoration takes place). In the mention of 50, both counting to Pentecost and counting to a Jubilee, we have 50 days from the 9th of Av (5th Hebrew month) to the Feast of Trumpets which is the 1st day of the 7th month. There is also 50 days from the beginning of the Hebrew 6th month to Day of Atonement (7th month 10th day) Hebraism is circular pattern and in the Greek we find nothing ever meets up again with the past. It makes sense to me that the end of the 7th millennium is the time God/YHWH destroys Satan, the earth and heavens and at the beginning of the 8th millennium we have the New Heaven and New Earth. Each week we rehearse this sevening. The seventh day begins at sundown and goes a full day to the following sundown. This is rehearsing what was and what will be.

2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
We getting closer. I would agree it is all the 7th millenium. Now to go into some detail. We know the Day of the Lord cannot come till after the antichrist takes hs seat in temple of God, that is halfway thru the millenium --2 Thess 2:-3-4

Next, there is the sheep/goat judgement the takes place at the end of the Tribulation. The sheep are saved not by grace thru faith but works! Then I knew that the bowl judgements were inside the Day of the Lord. The Lord set himself a different timetable than the antichrist. the sixth day ends when the 1st bowl jjdgement begins. I know this is deep

The Day of the Lord is the Sabbath day, 1000 year reign of Christ, and the kingdom of God

I can’t understand it I’ve honestly never found any scriptire that of itself supports the idea of a pre trib Rapture

But I think just the musing of an old fool , but I think that a lot of folks mix up Gods wrath and the day of his return with the perpetual tribulations that lead up to that final day of his return

airs hard to see for me too , because it’s so consistently taught by Jesus and his apostles , it’s almost worthy of being called a theme of the Bible Gods faithful people have always suffered greatly in earth since the fall in Eden I mean abel was the first martyr and he was the second man born.

If you think of Joseph , and then Israel’s plight and suffering in Egypt and also after Egypt because of rebellion , if you really thy ink about it this world has always been a place of great tribulation since man defiles and corrupted it

Its because of this the source of all tribulation in this world for Gods people

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:5-6, 11-13‬

of course a world full of wickedness is going to mean tribulations and persecutions for the righteous wars and violence unjust actions all the things that create tribulation

and believers have to live in this corrupt wicked world too after the peaceful ways of God in a world ruled by violence

Isaiah 13:
9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes,
cruel, with wrath and fierce anger,
to make the earth a desolation
and to destroy its sinners from it.

Do you agree that this day is not for christians?
Look at the first verse. The greatest world power at that time, Babylon, would be defeated and destroyed. Cyrus of Persia defeated them but didn't destroy them. Of course, great Babylon in Revelation refers to Rome but also to the ungodly world system that Jesus will destroy at the end of chapter 19. Lesson: Always study the context of a verse.

Did you mean to say halfway thru the tribulation? Halfway thru the millennium does not compute.

I'm interested in what you are saying. Can you back it up and explain it to a child?

When you read all of the passages on the day of the Lord you will often see mention of the rescue and salvation of the righteous included in the passage.

Theologically the subject of the Day of the Lord always includes the salvation of the righteous while the wicked suffer judgment and the very rescue of the righteous will be known and seen by the wicked as part of the vindication of the righteous in that day.

2 Thess 1: 5All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

what about the many generations of Christian’s before now though ? They aren’t true Christian’s because they weren’t raptured out of tribulation they endured ?
your post is confusing -----I have no idea what your talking about here -----what 7 tribulation did the generations of Christians before now endure -----

the 7 year tribulation has not happened before that I know of -----the world is still here --it hasn't been destroyed yet -----I am speaking of the the tribulation in Revelations -----and it clearly says that the Dead in Christ will be Raptured ---caught up--- with Jesus in the cloud first ----and then all the true Christians here who are still alive will be Raptured ---caught up --to meet Jesus on the cloud ------

The 7 year Tribulation is for Sinner not Saints ------

This particular "day of the Lord" referenced here is clearly not for Christians. (Although it may well vindicate them.)

Revelation 6:10
“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”

what about the many generations of Christian’s before now though ?

You know I've found 30 verses to back this up, that confirm the Body of Christ will suffer for others through tribulation,
But I'm really unsure to post them because I really can't see it will do anybody any good to those decieved by pre trib.

"Deceived by pre trib"? Really? And on what basis do you make that nonsensical statement?

Isaiah 13:
9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes,
cruel, with wrath and fierce anger,
to make the earth a desolation
and to destroy its sinners from it.

Do you agree that this day is not for christians?
well... judgement and salvation; always two sides of the same coin, so to speak.
it will be for Christians, but not in the same way, thanks be to God!

so true I can get the longing for the return of the lord part but that's it.
I’m seventy now when I was twenty or thirty what I Knew and believed about most things was different

I was convinced then but wouldn’t agree now what I mean is we’re all growing into an understanding and are at different points

We share and discuss in order to come to a fuller understanding

“so that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you;

and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe in that day.”

at the same token tho suffering for a Christian or suffering as a Christian can feel like there being judged or in danger of losing there salvation.

This is a tribulation we all walk.
But it's get easier when you become an old fool 😊
