In response to the point regarding gay clergy, I am currently going through the process of being interviewed to be a Priest in the CofE, and I know that I will be challenged by the selection panel over my sexuality and relationships, amongst other things. And the interview process is incredibly hard (I've already been in it for almost a year!)
