Dedicate your life to become humble, intimate of Jesus and full of His understanding.
See the likeness of these two verses:
• “The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.” (Pro 13:14).
• “The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.” (Pro 14:27).
Therefore, “the law of the wise” implies in “the fear of the Lord”, which is the beginning of wisdom:
• “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; all practicing them have good understanding; His praise stands forever.” (Psa 111:10).
• “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.” (Pro 9:10).
• “The fear of Jehovah is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.” (Pro 15:33).
However, it is important humility, to know the Creator (have intimacy with Him) and to seek only His praise (John 5:44) so that we can see the spring of Life flow through us.
But, above all, we need to take in the idea of what the Fountain of Life aims at departing people from the snares of death. Many people forget thereof and seek the life in order to “take advantage of the life”.
So, have a good day seeking Jesus, the Fountain of Life, so that His wisdom and fear hinder you of losing your soul trying to gain all the world (Matthew 16:26).
