Deeper into His word study: A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad.

I see people; they look like trees walking around. Mark 8:24

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:16

But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 6:23

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. Luke 6:22

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh Matthew 19:15

He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Matthew 13:37-43

A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 7:19-20

Somewhat diseased trees can still produce some good fruit.

I always looked at that chart pregnant. Had a baby with gray eyes though... Blue and green parents. 😆

Never saw albino red eyes. Probably be scared on that.

So is bad fruit good for food?

And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Gen 2:9 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: Gen 2:16

As all experience hath shown, men are more disposed to believe a lie, while the lie is believable than to repent of their sin and come to the knowledge of the truth.

And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Gen 6:3

That's up to the person picking the fruit. Some won't even bother considering bad fruit and will only pick the good ones, while others will.

That's why the Bible always encourages Christians to choose carefully the company they keep because of how they can influence the Christian:

Proverbs 13:20 Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Proverbs 22:24 Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person,
do not associate with one
easily angered,
25 or you may learn their ways
and get yourself ensnared.

I guess it could be applied to picking one's friends, but then again I think the tree symbolically represented the person while fruit was more the about their words, and of course the seed being the truth in their words.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; Prov 11:30

That's why the Bible always encourages Christians to choose carefully the company they keep because of how they can influence the Christian:
But it also is written "...henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" [Eph 4:14]
