I would like to ask people to keep my mother in their thoughts and prayers and, if possible.

My mother is 67 years old. For the past couple of years, her memory has not been what it used to be, and recently her condition has gotten much worse. Our family reached a point where we were no longer able to care for her safely at home, and she has now been admitted to a memory care facility.

She has experienced multiple violent outbursts, and she is currently being given medication to help keep her calm. What has been especially heartbreaking is that she no longer seems to recognize us. At times, she looks at us as though we are complete strangers. The memories she seems to hold onto are often from when we were little, and there are other moments when she acts as though she is a child herself.

I don't know if she was ever properly evaluated or medically diagnosed. Part of me is still trying to convince myself that this is dementia and not simply some kind of mental breakdown, because accepting what is happening is incredibly difficult. Regardless of the exact diagnosis, she is only 67 years old and is no longer able to pray for herself, repent, or do the things she may wish she could do for herself.

So I am asking others to pray for her on her behalf. Please pray for her peace, her comfort, her mind, and her soul. Pray that she is not afraid or suffering, even during the moments when she doesn't understand who we are.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. The doctors have been calling us today and letting us know that she is no longer responding to food. They will be doing blood work to check on her condition. They expressed their concern that she may be coming toward the end of her journey. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

I would try to get her to eat organic, unrefined coconut oil.
There are lots of things I'd try before trusting her demise to MDs who have no solutions.
I recently listened to a brain health/dementia summit of various experts in the field of dementia. There are many possible contributing factors. My Dad was stage 3-4. I share this with others like yourself to offer hope that is not available otherwise.
I got him off of toxins and treated him myself.
It took a while to undo the damage, but he went back to normal for a couple decades before wicked so called health care pros decided to kill him. The success stories I hear about are outside the institutions. If private assistance is an option, I would look at options as well as resources outside the drug industry if she were my Mom. I'm sorry for your and her challenges and pray for her recovery.

PS: I also don't want to offer false hope, but it seems odd that Sunday you asked for prayers for recovery. You also mentioned that she was not properly diagnosed. I'm with you.

All of a sudden "The doctors have been calling us today and letting us know that she is no longer responding to food. They will be doing blood work to check on her condition. They expressed their concern that she may be coming toward the end of her journey."

I would investigate the insurance request.
In America hospital care bases treatments and whether or not patients live based on insurance payouts to hospitals.

In the past when I was a kid, some Drs told me that elderly patients were frequently over medicated and toxic from all the many chemicals. The standard procedure was to take them off all meds and flush the toxins out with water. In my lifetime the opposite has been my observation. The old Drs I knew said that sometimes the dementia was the result of dehydration and too many drugs.
I'm not saying that about your Mom. I'm saying that there used to be a common understanding. Now they pile drugs on drugs and the poor old ladies are zoned out and unable to function. Then the Drs forbid them to be given water/fluids/hydration. This is a cruel torture by any other standards. In medicine they have a euphemism...they call it "comfort care.".
If insurance will not pay for treatment, then there's a financial incentive for the institution to eliminate the victims. They ask for signatures and instead of water to pee out the poisons, they give an overdose.

I will start naming names of Drs and their hospitals they work in which have committed these crimes. I don't want to alarm you, but it would be shameful to not be told by someone who's seen this occur many times.
I would look into family members who are willing to pitch in and ask them for help . That's what family are for. The children and grandchildren owe it to Grandma to take care of her.

I definitely do not disagree. Unfortunately, my siblings previously tried applying for our mom to go to different facilities that would have been more suitable for her, but she was denied by them. She is a non-English speaker, which makes caring for her even more complicated.

It turned out that she currently not eating because she needs to be hand feed, and they weren’t even attempting to do so. On top of that, she is diabetic, which can be very dangerous for her. Previously, when she was at home and her blood sugar levels were unstable, she went into a state of delirium. I truly don’t know whether her violent outbursts are related to her blood sugar levels or not, but for everyone’s safety, they are providing her with medication to keep her calm.

I also don’t have a lot of information about what medications she is receiving because my siblings are the primary contacts.

If any part of our mom understood the condition she is currently in, I truly believe she would be devastated. What makes this even harder is that I don’t feel the ministers from the church she attended for so many years are doing what they could to support her.

I mentioned to my siblings that they should at least visit her once a month, and one of my sisters said that the ministers told them there isn’t really anything they can do for her in her current state. That honestly makes me angry and frustrated. It feels like they are responding this way simply because she is elderly and because of the condition she is in.

I’m not expecting a miracle. I just wish they would make an effort to visit her, pray with her, and help ease her soul for whatever time she has left. Even if she doesn’t fully understand who they are or what is happening, I believe she still deserves the respect after being part of that church for so many years.

In my experience, the biggest cause of delirium and what they call "combative behavior" is the one you mentioned . In addition, drug induced effects, pain response from constant poking with needles and other things that are painful, sleep deprivation, dehydration combined with constipation/not enough bms to detox.
Anyone would feel that way under those conditions.

100%!
As I continue to mature my understanding is that the needs of precious people like your Mom need attention. The one place in the Bible that mentions the real positives about pure religion ... James 1:27 KJV
27Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I feel for you and wish she were in my area.
I would be there to talk to her and pray with her.
