Did Jesus die to take the punishment for everyone's sins?

The Lord Jesus died for His sheep, for all who hear and believe/all who come to saving faith in Him .. e.g. John 3:16, 18, 5:24, 10:26-28.

Jesus was punished by people who hated God. All God's children suffer at the hands of people who hate him the Lord. Jesus is the greatest example of this.
The cross is a completed act of redemption, it is finished, transaction complete.
If you claim Jesus died for everyone, then he has redeemed all. Everyone goes to heaven, YAY
If you claim Jesus died to pay a price for those who might believe, you say he redeemed none that day, he merely gave man the opportunity to be redeemed. Awe

He died for the elect, those promised by the Father before the beginning of time. If you are a believer you are among the elect, promised out of love from the Father to the Son, molded in his image to mirror the perfection of the Son, as a form of honoring the Son. It's not about us, it's about the Father and the Son, we're merely a gift. Yes, we Christians reap the benefits but in no way is all of this centered around us. It's about the Son, our Lord Jesus. The Father picked the bride and the Son paid, it's finished...

Whole world = Jews and Gentiles, not each person. Salvation was only of the Jews and Jewish converts until Christ arrived.

If everyone believed Jesus and trusted that His death took the punishment for their sins then yeah all people would be saved..
But the clear fact is many people disbelieve Jesus and think the Atonement of Jesus is stupid or evil..
So that means the Death of Jesus only takes the punishment for those people who believe Him and trust that His death pays for their sins..

Jesus died for all the sins of the world but if you don’t believe in Him then you are guilty of blasphemy, hence why non-believers are condemned.
The fact that some people are so arrogant as to openly disagree with your post is astonishing. If a person believes in Jesus Christ they have salvation. What you share is the heart of the Gospel, and yet some people disagree with you.
Yes it is very saddening.. Especially i this situation when my reply was in the case of someone asking a question about the most important issue a person could be asking about, Salvation.. Thank you for standing up and making your thoughts clear Lightskin.

Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our sins. He bore our sins that we may bare His Righteousness. He was made a curse and His body was broken that we may be blessed by remembering what His Blood has done. He became poor, that through His poverty we might be rich. He bore our griefs and carried our sorrows (infirmities, sickness, and diseases); and with His stripes we are healed. He Blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. He was raised from the dead without our sins, and we have been raised in Him. And today, by faith we sit with our Lord our God, Jesus Christ, at His Right Hand resting in His victory (what He did) at Calvary Cross, far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
