So, according to Islam, Muhammad's first revelation was the event in which Muhammad was visited by the archangel Gabriel in 610 CE, who revealed to him a verse from the Koran. The event took place in a cave called Hira, located on the mountain called Jabal an-Nour, near Makkah.

However, we know that Satan usually poses as an angel of light.

And let's remember; Satan is not his original name. It is Lucifer and in the Hebrew it means “shining one” or “morning star.”

Now we know that Satan is the author of lies and confusion (John 8:44). And that his only will is to steal, kill and destroy.

So Muhammad is said to have been visited in a cave by an angel of light. Or the angel Gabriel to be precise.

Well check this out....

Stark contrast indeed! Do angels of God usually strangle people?

Is Islam from God?

Was this really the angel of God Gabriel?

And another interesting question, since the bible teaches us that Jesus is the only way to God, that Jesus was given to us as a way back to God, that faith in Jesus is the only way mankind can gain atonement/forgiveness for their sins. And the Koran actually denies that Christ was Gods son, came into the world and was crucified on the cross (even though we have the three Gospels Matthew, Mark, and Luke). Is the Koran from God? Or is it just the works of Satan back in 610 CE?

Can an educated person here bring and shed some light on Islam?

Thanks!
What Proof you have that Jesus was Son of God, not the Son of Satan, or that Satan Beguiled Jesus that he was Son of God? After all, in whole of old testament, God is one, God is one, and Jews still say God is one. and yet a person comes and say he is to Messiah, yet go against the old testament.

Muslims try to find common ground with Christians to encourage them to convert. I wont say anything but do your research on it. For example, i have read the Koran myself, not much, it talks about there being a mother of the book. That alone is a massive problem for Islam. It says Allah is not begotten nor does he beget. They call its Allah's word, but there is a mother of the book.

Something demonic may have inspired Islam. But it would appear that it was the result of plagiarizing many different religions...not an apparition in a cave.

G-d only does good, what islame calls people to do runs counter to what the Bible clearly teaches. They believe they must rid the world of Christians and Jews to prepare the world for the "mahdi", and that Jesus is not the only begotten Son of G-d, very clearly not truth as anyone who has experienced God knows, outward form only Christians will not grasp this and can be easily duped.

The Koran is not accurate historically, nor is it scripture. We cannot really base our understanding of Mohammed’s experiences on what is written, but we can say an angel of God certainly did not tell Mohammad to have sex with children, be a warlord, convert people through fear and extort money from them under threat of their lives in the name of God, and kill any who oppose him. It conflicts entirely with the nature and teachings of Christ who said to love our enemies, protected the vulnerable and freed the oppressed, and commanded us to do good to those who hate us. No angel sent from God would have told Mohammed things that conflicted with Christ’s teachings.

God did not give Mohammad the words contained in the Koran that oppose the truths in the bible. IF an angel actually appeared- and no one can say if that actually happened or not - it was not an angel of the Lord.

Incorrect. The Madhi is supposed to return and cleanse the world of "injustice", for preparation of "the Rightly Guided One" or Messiah.
