My only confidant is God. I have ever considered leaving CC too but then I changed my mind. Perhaps I could be God's instrument here.

Yes,.... Some of Derek Prince's books and other books but I don't really remember all of them.

yes
some parts of a book by Elizabeth Gilbert, both what she wrote and some quotes she had. It was very, uh, spiritual without being Christian, so I was a bit skeptical at first, but it was good, because much of it can be transfered to Christianity.

like one of the quotes (the version I read was in dutch): Arme stumper, je draagt God in je en je weet het niet eens
"you poor man, you carry God within you, and you are not even aware of it"

... I think that is true for many people.

Did you ever get a "message" from God that you knew instantly was from Him?
 
Yes, many times. I often hear a Spiritual Being,..I believe it is the Father, Jesus, or The Holy Spirit themselves, talk to me. I often get a message tthrough dreams too. Weird but it's true. I don't just believe what I hear or dreams though. I usually check them out first and pray about it....and wait to see what will happen. If my dreams come true......then they are from the Lord.

Yes! The sermon was about Pentecost.

Nope. I have my shoes tied so I can take them off and put them back on without untying them.
