1. Matthew. He suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound.
2. Marks. He died in Alexandria, Egypt, after being dragged by horses through the streets to his death.
3. Luke. He was hanged in Greece as a result of his tremendous preaching to the lost.
4. John. He faced martyrdom when he was boiled in a huge basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously saved from death.
John was then sentenced to the mines in the prison on the island of Patmos. He wrote his prophetic Book of Revelation on Patmos. The apostle John was later released and returned to serve as bishop of Edessa in modern Turkey. He died old, the only apostle who died in peace
5. Peter. He was crucified face down on an X-shaped cross. According to church tradition, it was because he told his tormentors that he felt unworthy to die the same way Jesus Christ had died.
6. James (called the Just One) The leader of the church in Jerusalem was thrown more than a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat him to death with a club.
This was the same pinnacle where Satan had taken Jesus during the temptation.
7. James, the son of Zebedee, was a fisherman by trade when Jesus called him to a life of ministry.
As a strong leader of the church, James was beheaded in Jerusalem. The Roman officer guarding him watched in amazement as he defended his faith at trial.
The officer later walked with him to the execution site. Overcome by conviction, he declared his new faith to the judge and knelt beside Santiago to accept his beheading as a Christian.
8. Bartholomew. Also known as Nathaniel. He was a missionary in Asia. He bore witness to our Lord in present-day Türkiye. Bartholomew was martyred for his preaching in Armenia, where he was flayed to death with a whip.
9. Andrew. He was crucified on an X-shaped cross in Patras, Greece. After being severely whipped by seven soldiers, they tied his body to the cross with ropes to prolong his agony.
His followers reported that, as he was led to the cross, Andrew greeted them with these words: "I have long desired and waited for this happy hour. The cross has been consecrated by the body of Christ hanging on it." He continued preaching to his executioners for two days until he expired.
10. Thomas. He was stabbed with a spear in India during one of his missionary journeys to establish the church on that continent.
11. Judas Thaddeus He was killed with arrows when he refused to deny his faith in Christ.
12. Matias. The apostle chosen to replace the traitor Judas Iscariot. He was stoned and then beheaded.
13. Paul. He was tortured and then beheaded by the evil emperor Nero in Rome in 67 AD. Paul endured a long imprisonment, which allowed him to write his many epistles to the churches he had formed throughout the Roman Empire. These letters, which taught many of the fundamental doctrines of Christianity, form a large part of the New Testament.

Yes, I did thank you. My father use to sing a song many years ago. I believe the title was 12 Men, either way it told how each one died. The only thing is now I have to sing the song to remember.

“Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭23:34-36‬ ‭

“All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:8-9‬ ‭

“But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10:17-

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

….And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:5, 17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭8:1, 3-4‬ ‭

“For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men. Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace; and labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it: being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭4:9, 11-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For matters of debate with unbelievers... I think we only have historical evidence for some of them.

But all were persecuted for their faith, some were clearly martyred in the historical records, and it's certainly possible they all died as martyrs.

Agree also there are hints and things in the epistles like Paul’s farewell to Timothy

“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:6-9, 11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In the kjv authorized of course there’s the post caption coming from wherever it did and whomever it did and also whenever

“The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.”

abut agreeably everything is based on church history or historical accounts except for James killed with a sword which is in the Bible . Also there’s Jesus telling Peter he would be crucified and his apostles tbey would face imprisonments and death after he left . There’s also peters farewell in 1peter 1

abut much of the details really aren’t clear or provable factually and relies mostly upon church history and early Christians history

they were definately persecuted and many killed in tbe romans slaughter of Jews and Christian’s when jeruswlem was besieged and even before that James was martyred by Herod I believe

“And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

james one of the original apostles and one of the three closest to Jesus of the twelve was definately killed by Herod with the sword
