I believe that God Almighty in His infinite wisdom gave Daniel a vision of the United States during the end times in the Old Testament. In the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament Daniel has a vision about 4 beasts that will exist on this Earth during the time of the Second Coming of Christ. The passage tells us that these 4 beasts represents nations that will be on this Earth during that time. The vision speaks of a beast like a lion that had eagle's wings coming out of it. The passage goes on to state that the eagle's wings where plucked out and was given a heart and stood like a man. It doesn't take one much research to know that a lion is the symbol of a modern nation on this Earth today. The Lion is Great Britain. Of course the symbol of America is the Eagle. Where did American originate from??? We came from Great Britain. The eagle's wings were plucked from the Lion. Daniel was given a vision of American Independence from England in 1776!!! The bear is a symbol for modern day Russia. The Leopard with its 4 heads represents Germany. Each head represents the number of times that nation will rise and fall. Each head represents a Reich. 1st, 2nd, 3rd (Hitler's Reich), and the 4th Reich that is on the rise right now. The ten horned beast will be a 10 nation union from Europe, possibly the Western European Union, (remains to be seen). If all this is true and these animals do represent the modern nations mentioned above, then we are FOR SURE living in the last days. Hi there.

I think that the pastor that is presenting the studies on Daniel is not accurate or consistent with the bible. If you read Daniel chapter 2 and chapter 7 it is dealing with the same events. The statute which the King Nebuchadnezzar dreamt where he saw this great image with the metals are used in chapter 2 and the beasts are used in chapter 7, it is speaking of the same event. As you may already know that Babylon is represented by the head of gold, Medes and Peres represented by the chest of silver and two arms, Greece by the breast plate of brass (bronze) and Rome represented by the two legs of iron, divided Rome with the ten toes and feet of iron and clay. The Rome made use of iron. They are known as the iron kibgdom. And the rock which come and hit the statute by the feet, which is Jesus Christ second coming. And sets up His everlasting kingdom. Now the beasts in chapter 7 is referring to the same kingdoms which ruled as in chapter two. The loin with the eagle wings is referred to as Babylon. Babylon was known as the golden kingdom and on the walls of Babylon the symbol of the lion with wings was discovered. Germany digged up the wall and put it in museum there. The bear with the one side higher on the one and three ribs in its mouth is referring to the Medes and Persians. The persians was stronger than the medes. The three ribs is referring to 3 kibfdoms they battled and won. Egypt, Babylon and Lydia. The leopard with 4 heads and four wings represents Alexander the great which conquered the whole world in the swifest time. At age of thirty Alexander conquered the world. The wings in bible prophecy would mean speed. The four heads of the leopard refers to the four generals which took over after Alexander died. And like the metal statute Rome represents the last terrible beast. This is just short summary. I would suggest you do more research. I appreciate it alot that you interested in the prophecy of Daniel and Revelation. My encourage is to test and prove what is the truth. May God bless you in your search of truth.

And may I add, you are right. The United States are presented in bible prophecy. It is such amazing prophecy. America is represented by the beast which come out of the earth in Revelation 12. In Revelation 12 there are two beasts in that chapter. The sea beast and the earth beast. The sea beast comes out of a very populated area because in bible prophecy the sea presents people, nations, kindred and languages. While the lamb like beast with the two horns come up from the earth which means there is not alot of people when that nation came up. So definitely that description perfectly describe America. The Christians fled away from Europe and established America to run away from the persecution of Rome and papal system. If you read that chapter you will see that the sea beast got a deathly wound which refers to the period when the general of France arrested the Pope and throw him in jail. That is referring to the deathly wound where the power of the papacy was taken away from the vatican. And the roman church didn't had any politcal power anymore. it was only church there after. but scripture continues and says that the deadly wound will be healed again. referring to the the papacy will regain its politcal power again. And America started out good as a lamb- christlike but afterwards beginning to speak like dragon. And how does a country speak with it laws.
 
The United States did not exist at the time of the bible. The world is not over yet. How do you know 1,000 or 10,000 years from now another country was "mentioned" in the bible? We don't know what is going to happen.

The bible is specific with names of people and countries. Why cant say it say a country named America or France or Spain will be in bible prophecy?

Why be vague if they knew what will happen?

The prophecy of Daniel started in the days of Daniel. Which kingdom ruled when Daniel was taken captive to Babylon? Daniel lived while King Nebuchadnezzar ruled. He was a youngster when He was taken captivite by the babylonians. And Daniel was still alive during the time which the Peres and Medes had defeated the babylonians. These are events from Daniels days to the end of time. Can you me in which year was America recognized as a nations that isn't thousands of year ago. You must think very clearly of what I am saying.
 
I don't believe in the bible code or "hidden messages". Too far fetched! No we don't have to think on what you are saying. We only have to accept what God reveals as truth. Amen.
 
The bible is not outrightly going to mention the names of the countries directly. Bible prophecy and history goes together hand and hand. History will confirm what the bibles says.
 
Well my brother, that is between you and our heavenly Father. I would suggest that if you truely want to understand bible prophecy. My advice would be to pray for wisdom and understanding. Because that is what I did. For many years had I searched for a ministry or church which could explain or give me the tools to study especially the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation. I searched for many years and God heard my prayers and answered me. I would suggest do not give up on searching. God will reveal His truth to you and then you will have the experience of Psalm 126, where you will feel as though you are dreaming. If you are really interested I could give you few suggestions. I guess I could make it abit easier on you. God bless

If God gave us the names of future events, nations, and people, evil would just change it's name and then the prophecy would be useless.
