lol you clearly didn't read what i started in the beginning of my thread didn't you? i said... GOD is eternal which means no beginning or no end and i showed you the verse that proved that Jesus had a beginning

The Word, having taken on flesh and who was then named Jesus, has a beginning as the role Son. But the Word, is from eternity.

And as I asked of you, shall we say that the Word is not God the Creator? Shall we say God is not our Savior? Shall we say that Jesus was not that Savior?

I repeat, this discussion concerns what a person must believe to be saved. Why ask me questions, you seem unable to answer the points I have put to you concerning the subject at hand, which is hardly suprising when you think about it is it.

Cfultz3, he can't see it, that's why our answers arent what he expects

if you read the scriptures carefully you would see that the word is referring to Jesus , in the beginning was the word, the beginning of what? the beginning of everything, the word was with God, showing us that the word was with God ( example the computer is with the keyboard) 2 beings and the word was God, now tell me this if god is eternal with no end and beginning but in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word is Jesus what does that tell you?

The Word is Jesus

And if that Word is Jesus, did the Word loose "Him being the Creator"? My Brother, the Word took on flesh and as the Messenger of the LORD, He was sent to accomplish a mission. As you know, that mission included that He would come to humans and deliver the final Message of salvation. Although He became lower than the angel for awhile, He never ceased from being the One who fulfilled the Father's will in either Creation, the leading of the Hebrews, in being the Christ. He is the "God said" of creation. He, the Word, just speaks things into existence, a power only a God could possess.

Neither of you can answer the question, that's why you have to deflect. If ordained ministers don't make your demands, why should I take notice of them? Are you more knowledgeable and spiritually discerning than ministers in the pulpits?

Okay friend, you said Jesus had a beginning. Are we talking about His existence had a beginning? What do you mean?
i can only show you what the scripture is saying, and also point out to you that God is Eternal which means no beginning or end but the Word referring to Jesus was in the beginning do you see what i'm trying to show you? Difference between God and Jesus is God had no beginning but Jesus had one

Jesus said in Jh.8:24,28,58 three times Jesus called Himself the God of the OLD T.. "if you do not believe that I am, you will die in your sins." v. 24 Love to all, Hoffco

And the Word took flesh upon Himself and was named Jesus in that role of fulfilling God's will.

in the beginning..Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” [h=3]Genesis 1:26[/h]
us 2 persons lets see what this other scripture says 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

You are in fact the same person who was banned and your argument of belittling Jesus to the status of a mere human is far more dangerous to a soul than you realize. You have been shown that the LORD is our Savior and that Savior we know as Jesus. May God show you the Truth. Your continuous claim of Jesus not being God has not gone unnoticed.....

As I said earlier, lies and distortions of peoples beliefs always follow when you have no response to questions.

I repeat, the spiritually immature demand what minsters don't and neither does scripture

Josh

"Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. - Isaiah 44:6 NASB

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." - Revelation 22:1 NASB

The point is God had no beginning but Jesus had a beginning

Jesus was born, as a man, from Holy Spirit seed, he did have a beginning, joshers. this is true, brother, you are in agreement. But, Jesus IS the mighty God, the everlasting Father. Are we in agreement here ?

And, if we are in agreement, then, would Jesus have been around when it says , 'In the beginning, God....," yes, because Jesus is God ?

And God sent Himself down to Earth in the form of a Holy Spirit seed who became a baby boy, then, would not this mean that the Holy Spirit He sent of Himself is also God ?

And, Jesus was called 'Immanuel,' which means 'God with us.' So, again, Jesus is with us , and, so, He is God, is the only logical conclusion we can make. :)

The point is God had no beginning but Jesus had a beginning

Jesus has a beginning because at a point in time, God sent the Word on a mission. The Word, in fulfilling that mission, took human flesh upon Himself (if He took flesh upon Himself, then He must have had a different flesh apart from even angels, as He did not take upon Himself the flesh of angels). So, yes Josh, Jesus (the Son) has a beginning, but the Word was there before the beginning and is the One we call Creator.

it's not 2 in one if that is what you are trying to say it is 2 beings God and Jesus but when Jesus was on earth he was the fullness of God from the holy spirit
