I read an article today about Stephen Hawking, he , according to the article, predicts that Earth will be destroyed by fire.... nuclear fire that is.... And we need to look to try to inhabit other planets. I do not know the validity of this article, but what I do know what is valid; G-d said, in His Word, He was going to destroy the Earth by fire. Not much of a prediction when G-d already told us how He was going to destroy the Earth!

Do you think that fire will come directly from G-d or will He use mankind.... nuclear weapons?



and as a p.s. It is extremely sad Stephen Hawking did not know we will live someplace else... Heaven. I hope he accepted Messiah on his death bed at least....

God does not need man's help. God's creation contains all He needs to bring about destruction by fire.
There may be some nukes used by man, but the destruction will be done by God.
 
It wouldn't surprise me if God used man kind do to his bidding considering he has done that ever since the dawn of creation. I had a dream in 2013 about missiles coming down like rain and exploding destroying everything into a waste land I felt the force of the explosions but was unharmed somehow. I wonder if this dream was of the future?

I believe this is a first century description of a Meteor striking the sea..

Revelation 8: KJV
8 "And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;"

So i believe the greatest destruction during the end times that will be done to one third of the worlds surface area will be from a meteor striking the earth.. Such a strike will kick up a huge amount of debris into the lower earth orbit, The impact will be so great as to cause a shockwave to travel through the crust of the earth causing a massive earthquake..


Revelation 6: KJV
14 "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."


Then the debris kicked up by the meteor impact will be pulled back to earth because of gravety and cause a huge meteorite shower that will cause massive fires over the earth surface..

Luke 17: KJV
29 "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. {30} Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed."

So i do not believe the end will be caused by nuclear warfare.. nuclear warfare might happen and be a part of the wars and talk of wars that will happen just before the end days.. But the big destruction of 1/3rd of the earths surface will be by meteor impact..
 
God is in control of everything and that includes all things natural and supernatural. He has always used nations to to serve his purposes even if they are against him. Nothing happens without him allowing it to happen. So it is possible that he would allow Nuclear weapons to be used he did at Hiroshima and Nagasaki
 
Interesting thoughts. We don't know. He did not use mankind to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, yet He uses mankind all the time to carry out His will of destruction (ex. Israel taken into Assyrian captivity).
