Disable Extra Large Webcam?

I have observed that when the extra large webcam is used, even once. That for the rest of the day, there's a a persistent lag that occurs in the chat room which disrupts voice chat and even text chat. This stops when the server is re-set, then everything functions normally again. I think that some people have become aware of this as the cause. Could this feature be disabled? It would help a great deal with the chatroom experience for everyone. Thanks
 
When anyone tries to use it, the members that are active in the chat room (particularly the lounge) ask the person if they'd change to small video, as to some it can lag their systems. I haven't noticed any major lagging myself after someone uses it, so perhaps it's your computer/network?

I'm not sure though, I've only seen it used a few times and those times it was only for a short period.
 
I thought that it could be on my end for some time Stephen. But have gotten similar reports while in the room from almost everyone present in the lounge especially starting at the point of and long after the instance of the large webcam window was used.
 
I don't really get the purpose of having it. Every time someone turns it on, mods tell them to go back to small, anyways. So why offer something and not let people use it?
Besides, its just annoying anyways and many others complain about it, not even the lag issue, just no one likes to look at it.
