...so if I choose No camera and No sound... I shouldn't get up that picture/ video that shows people talking.

I don't use the chat a lot, but I got a feeling people will agree
 
& a way to id users as having voice/vid silenced so when we talk to them they dont appear to be ignoring. I guess thats why they came up with the text only room but the room doesnt seem to be used alot.
 
Astrid, I just saw this, but if you log in with the option that says 'low speed' instead of high speed on your connection speed it will make it so the video does not show up at all. Plus, you can click and drag the avatar to anywere in the chat window, out of the way of the text so it's not covering the text box.
 
oooooh, I didn't think about trying the low speed

and yeah, I know I can move it :) it's still distracting though (yea, I get easily distracted :p)
