disagreement forum

I recently read some of the stuff under the attacks against cc forum.. an i had this idea that may lesson the number of attacks if there was a forum that people could come post in about what they disagree with an why an could disscuss it with the other memembers an mods in a civial manner then perhaps the people could ether get a solution or shown that whatever they diswgree withd was nececary an they wouldnt get mad an attack cc... certain mods could possibly be asigned to that forum at spefic time so they would only have to worry about that specific forum at the time sence it may be one of the more stress full ones... idk its just an idea i thought might help what you guys think? Much love to you all.

Sounds like a good idea ... just take it to another place. We aren't all going to agree.

Mods are volunteers who have no schedule. They come on when they can.

Also, opening up a forum dedicated to complaining about CC is just going to snowball into an attack forum. And then CC defenders will be in there and it will become an all out war. Everyone has this dream that people will be 'civil' and that moderators have the time, and interest, to moderate a forum dedicated to disagreements. The forums that are not supposed to be debate forums are constantly in debate already.
To make people complaining about the site a public issue just doesn't seem wise. If someone has a grievance against the site, they should contact the mods/owner directly and privately to discuss it.
Another thing is making this a public discussion only serves to put negative thoughts in peoples minds, or allow rumors to form. I can't see anything good coming of this idea. I know you mean well, so i'm not knocking you personally. It just doesn't seem like a good idea, because too much bad is likely to come from it.
 
The attacks forum was put up to give our users a glimpse of what the staff here deal with routinely. These attacks come from either banned users, or people who have left the site voluntarily because they didn't feel that site staff was dealing with their complaints about the site properly. In these circumstances a disagreement forum would not reduce the attacks on the site because the users are already gone.

Unfortunately when dealing with a site of this size it is literally impossible to keep everyone happy and for some reason incomprehensible to me some of those people we weren't able to keep happy are intent on destroying this site's reputation rather than just deciding to leave quietly.
 
Ooo lol okay :)...an i agree not everyone would be civial but those could be dealt with accordingly but i think more people would be civial if they felt like they had a place where there complaints would be heard an considerd an its true you cwnt make everyone happy but i think we should try as hard as possible an i know the mods are volenteers but they most likly have general times they get on an if a few more where needed than theres probaly othernpeople on this site who wouldnt mind giving there time.. idk maybe im jist a dreamer but ive been involved in a few things similsr to this in my life an its always seemed to be a good idea to give the people a place where there opinions can be heard an consieed by more than one party.
 
If people have complaints, they can simply contact a Mod or Admin, or the site owner directly. Top of the page 'Quick Links' then 'Site Leaders' is a list of them for anyone needing to contact someone.
