Discipline and the fall from grace

Am i alone in this I go to and I am an active member of my local church sometimes I feel strong then othertimes I feel different I go through bursts of between 6-12 weeks where I into my bible,praying and reading scripture etc.
Then I find myself distant and go the same length of time where i don't pray read the bible in fact become the total opposite I sin and I am consious of this.
How can I avoid this and stay with my bible,praying reading scripture etc I want too but for the life of me I can't explain why I drift I do feel church isn't a great discipline like in the past if you don't attend no one hunts you down.
But I want to find the key to being spiritually sound 100% of the time not weeks at a time I want the fulfillment but sometimes seem very lost with it.
I go to a few groups which is great but I am trying to find a way to be a 100 percenter..Thanks for reading

Matthew 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

The Holy Spirit will empower you.
 
Its called spiritual warfare and we all experience it. Try fasting not only from food but worldly things as well like TV, sports, etc

The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak

You can tie the bible around your waist and glue your hands together in a praying position :p...other than that realize it is spiritual warfare.

Ephesians 6:13-18 KJVS
[13] Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. [14] Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; [15] And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [16] Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. [17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: [18] Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

our 'old-man' also likes to play tricks on us from time to time, surfacing when we least expect it,
and when we least want it...dealing with ourselves, our old, ingrained, patterns from the crib onward
don't just disappear when we give our hearts to Christ, it's really just the beginning of the race set before us....
the Holy Spirit's re-newing, re-patterning us is the true journey of our lives, because now we find ourselves
desiring Spiritual things, but, the discipline and dedication this takes is so key, the proof, that our walk in our new found Love is real and set in stone....our victories give us the strength and confidence to continue
from one day to the next...we truly do learn that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us -
and that there is just no other Way, Truth, or Life....

This is a reason that many shall stumble and fall away....

Mark 4:19 "And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful."

No man going to war entangles himself with the cares and affairs of the world, you have to willing to forsake all things to be the Lords disciple.

This is something i had planned around doing for lent but again no idea what to do for it.
 
Spiritual warfare sounds awesome but i can promise its not as much fun as it may sound the daily battle
