Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
I absolutely loved the above verses,
Shows much Unity, a unity the very first church had, a unity the apostles showed. and oh How many souls did they win on the first day? over 3000, and daily the LORD increased the number of believers. They knew where they came from, fishermen, prostitutes, liars, conartists, sinners all in all. None greater than the other, but all where once waiting to be torched for eternity. All blinded by the devil, the world won over them. but then the Lord saved them, and through the Apostles taught them of the promises they have In the Father, the love that HE showed towards them. The many times they where showed mercy for their sinful nature. The apostles designated elders, and men with destitute Character to rule over the multitudes, many got persecuted, some fell, some fell and never came back up, some backslid, some backslid and fell and never came back up. but in all this THE Father never changed. He remained JUST, HE expected HIS word to be done, and HE expected that all should just be firm on the foundation that is JESUS, knowing that if they stumbled on HIM they would be broken, and if HIS wrath fell on them they would be crushed to dust. GOD being slow to anger still showed mercy, and forgave those that repented. He blotted their sins away, and told them to continue being made new, being built everyday to the Temple of GOD, that the visitations HE made towards them should turn into Abiding with them. That HIS presence may be with them wherever they went. and yes the FATHER was faithful to HIS WORD, and HE increased their boldness, and how much these very same apostles where willing to die, and never ran from death neither persecution for it was a joy for them. knowing that in death they will turn to incorruptibility, holy and righteous before the Fathers eyes, awaiting the very crowns prepared for them, and now they having trusted the word God gave the very apostles, now awaiting the marriage supper of the Lamb where everyone that BELIEVES and is LIVING IN TRUTH led by the HOLY GHOST is the bride.
And how much more would GOD throne us if we all won the battles that we face on this earth. To die and be clothed with the garments ready for a bride. White robes, unscathed, more beautiful than the World most expensive robes. With glorious, glowing faces, when the LORD says "Enter in My son/daughter you have earned your stay here".
OH LORD I WANT TO BE IN THAT NUMBER, WHEN THE SAINTS COME MARCHING IN
