So many christians are going for divorce and remarry, while Christianity conmdems it. Please give your opinion.

well a Christian wouldn't divorce a Christian if they both obey Gods word.....
they would remain faithful and happy in marriage

Top three reasons i've seen for Christian divorce (at least in America), abuse, cheating and addiction. Another popular one is one spouse claiming they no longer (or never did) love the other one. So, in my opinion, the actual divorcing is a secondary problem, a result of other, more serious problems, than the divorce itself.
So if people worked harder at helping marriages and focused less on divorce numbers we may see a decline in divorce to begin with.
Also we have to consider that not all Christians initiate a divorce. If neither are saved when they marry, and one gets saved, but not both, the unsaved spouse may choose to divorce to believer.
True some people, including some Christians, are way too casual about divorce, many do seem to spend years trying to repair their marriages to no avail, then end up divorcing. Typically by then they have legitimate reasons for doing so.
As for remarriage, there are various interpretations of this idea. I've not done much digging so i have little insight.

Concur with 'Ugly'... My concern is that our societies are becoming desensitized and too accepting in allowing powers of negativity to influence too many individuals off the path of their intended commitment to up-hold their vows of faith in marriage.
Other than the three justifiable basis for divorce there are simply too many lawyers, friends of broken marriages, and mis-guided and un-qualified counselors and therapists - who are wrongly advising individuals to end their marriages prematurely and unnecessarily...
Our societies are simply making it too easy to empower those during times of vulnerability to just quit.
There is no such thing as a perfect marriage - just imperfect couples who commit to love, honor, respect, trust, understand, befriend and forgive each other unconditionally in a union of mutual faith - for as long as it takes.
All relationships go thru trials and tribulations - it is those who are bound by mutual faith and commitment to their marital vows that will persevere...
IMHO - For the benefit and purpose of the christian familial union - marital vows and commitment are intended to last forever...

ok i think youre asking
If a Christian is married to a non believer and just "wants" a divorce
is it ok?
no... it is not
not without a just cause (example : the non-believer commiting fornication)

Not trying to be mean, but that sentence is mangled. Nearly impossible to decipher.
So go to 1st Corinthians ch 7 verse 13 to 16 and read that it let's you know about divorce. And that it is ok if you are a believer and the other one isn't a believer and it is ok. But if you agree on if. But God said I wish you do not separate but if you do that is okay
My opinion matters not. God said not to divorce unless your spouse is unfaithful to you with another. Therefore it is sin to divorce for any other reason.
That is not what God said. He said if you are a Christian, and your spouse is not, and your spouse agrees to stay with you despite the fact that you are a Christian, great. But if your spouse leaves let him go- you are not bound in that circumstance. This is talking about if the decision is up to your spouse. But if the decision is up to the Christian, the Christian must stay in the marriage. If the Christian leaves the covenant of marriage, except their spouse has sex with others, they are sinning against God, and He is not ok with it!
Okay but God also says that if you both agree on the divorce and you can't make your marriage work then he's okay with that too I wouldn't be throwing divorce papers at my husband if he would have never beat me and I know God sure is not okay with that either so I don't know how many people will get mad at this verse or what I have to say but it is my opinion that's why I posted it I was in a marriage for three yea I I went back to him try to make it work but when you're being every single day then why stay in that marriage try being beaten for everything a little and little mistakes that you make each and every day I know God does not want his child beaten by man that supposedly loves them or a woman I was married to my ex-husband for 3 years before I left because he beat me everyday now I am with somebody else who treats me with respect and is teaching me about the B and and about God and about his word so all y'all can think I'm doing adultery or whatever it is but I don't care this is my opinion if you don't like it oh well
the Law of Moses allows divorce if a person is displeased with thier wife, they wrote a certificate of divorce and sent Her away and both were free to remarry others, but not allowed to then remarry each other.
The Gospel which is christian doctrine says then....
Matthew 5:31-32 "It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: <<<(Deuteronomy 24:1-4)
32But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
i believe that this needs to be understood that if a divorced person didnt understand or Know this beforehand, and they divorced, they shouldnt then feel they are Lost or commiting adultery because they re married......But Once you Know, what you do afterwards is what matters. a good example is the Woman at the well, she had 5 husbands and was with a man who wasnt her husband when Jesus met Her He still dealt with Her and ended up staying two days with Her People the samaritans.
Jesus Christ is not looking to condemn us for what is behind us..... He came to forgive those things in His mercy, and call us to repentance.
The lord does not want his children to suffer at the hands of others... The lord blessed you with the strength to leave that toxic situation, and he has blessed you on your journey in pursuit of safety and happiness.
