Now i ain't trippin i know rappers have to make it out the hood
And if rap keeps you away from crime, and treat your family good
I can't knock a mans hustle
But the problem is we fraud
When we make these albums full of sin
And then we thankin God...
... Clean up rap, take the lord out
One song ain't gonna please Him
Picture that
1 for Jesus and 10 others made for heathens

My favorite rappers were Ice Cube, Ice T and Dr Dre. They use a lot of profanity and even glorified violence but there is no denying their talent... just like you said I can't blame them for using their talent to get out of the hood

Actually that was lines from the song i posted. Bushwick Bill, formerly of Geto Boys had that to say after getting saved. The point of the lines, though, was to quit trying to mix a little Jesus with a lot of the world. Such as how some rappers talk all sorts of crap then throw in something spiritual. Such as the kind in the OP.
