All paths do not lead to God.

Love God, and love people are the 2 greatest laws.

And love works no ill towards their neighbor therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

The other paths will not fulfill this as selfishness and arrogance will guide them somewhat.

Also those that confess Christ will be given the Holy Spirit giving them the power to love and causing them to think spiritual.

Where the other paths will not be able to receive the Holy Spirit and are of the flesh.

And in the flesh dwells no good thing and those in the flesh cannot please God.

In the Old Testament those that followed the God of Israel having their sins covered Jesus would take away their sins completely.

The other paths that deny Jesus as Savior to take away their sins cannot have a connection to God.

Isa 59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Our sins separate us from God.

So the other paths that do not believe Jesus is Savior do not have their sins forgiven and cannot have a connection to God.

This is a trick of the devil and the way the antichrist will deceive the world by causing the world to believe all their religions are compatible.

Which he will portray Jesus in a different way as an ascended master in that system and not as Lord and Savior which will cause them to accept it.

And the atheists are included in that belief system to try to pull the world together in to one system.

Christianity fundamental, Islam fundamental, and Judaism fundamental will be the trouble makers to them.

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

The new age movement that interprets the Bible and religions according to the occult and evolution, and people are going to evolve to be spiritual, and greater, and Jesus became an ascended master among others, and there is no personal God, but they honor the God of forces the power of nature, and the New Age Christ is the next world teacher.

The time will come that people will not want to hear the truth of the Bible but want to hear it according to the new age.

All paths do not lead to God but is a falsehood to get them together as one.

Which they will eventually change it a little to where there is no personal God and Jesus is part of that system being of the occult, and is based on atheism.

The devil hoping to bring them all together whether religious believing in a God or atheist previously to that new system.

All truth is part of the path leading to a saving relationship with God.
(Psa. 119:105, Gal. 3:24, John 1:1-18, 14:6, 1John 5:6)

It gets very confusing with all the different religions and claims that this or that belief or ideas from various movements that they have the path that leads to God, so is it. When you hear a religious leader or teacher claim that all religions lead on a path to God, scripture is clear that is not the case. We find it in John 14...

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus declares that the only way to God is through Him.

Yes. No matter what religion someone is following, they will evntually arrive at God and His judgment seat.

Just the Baptist Church alone has hundreds of distinct branches that broke away. Until the 1500s there was only one Christian Church and only one church today can even remotely begin to trace it's history back to the apostles.

Hey, what about the Catholic Church. The Vatican claims that Christ made Peter the first Pope, so they can trace their lineage back to the beginning ☺️

This is the line my Catholic friends and relatives, proudly use to show their superiority over my Baptist Church. It leads to futile debates, I wish there was a silver bullet I could use to shut their argument down.

I grew up in a Catholic family and my best friend was a Greek Orthodox, my Parish Priest taught us that there is no salvation, outside of the catholic Church. And my Greek Orthodox friend told me that, that his priest said exactly the same thing. Both can't be right, or in my opinion both a wrong.

It seems that every denomination claims the high ground, at the end of the day, God will not judge us by our denomination, He will judge us as individuals, we won't be able to hide behind no denomination or Priest on judgement day.

Partly. The east west schism took place in 1054. Prior to that and not untill the 1500 no one was preaching the silliness of OSAS or either of the solas, but nice try

Don't know whether this is a silver bullet, but the truth is that RC had the hallmarks of a pseudo-Christian cult before it finally although begrudgingly suspended the Inquisition against Protestants during Vatican II circa 1964.
Now the most Christian RCs are those in America who have been reformed by the Baptists and other evangelical denominations--
NOT the woke Pope!

It's not about superiority it's about authority. What other church can even begin to claim such a lineage? Certainly not the baptist church.

No, Paul taught that it is about spirituality, not physical lineage.
And Paul was in no way either inferior to or less authoritative than Peter--per Peter.
The Baptists can claim being persecuted by the RC church.

Incorrect. Peter was the leader of the church as Paul was never give such authority by Jesus. I know you folks twist yourself into pretzels theologically to explain away whats explicitly written. I give you guys credit you do have an incredible talent for ignoring the obvious. Its like your super power.

Baptists never persecuted anyone did they? LMBO you people are hilarious.

Didn't Paul believe that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord? That sounds pretty certain.

All you have to do is prove that if YOU are absent from your body that YOU will.be present with the Lord.

I don't. I simply have to establish that Paul believed this is so. What do you know? He did.

Peter was sent by Jesus as an apostle to the Jews. Paul was sent by Jesus as an apostle to the Gentiles. Peter never called himself am apostle to the Gentiles.

Actually, the church I belong to can trace its lineage back to Jesus. I think Jesus has more authority than both Peter and Paul.

Not sure why you deny that Jesus also gave Paul authority (in Acts 9:15, cf. Gal. 2:1-8).
Ignoring the obvious? (Also 2Cor. 10:1-12:13.)
Both Peter and Paul were church leaders.

No I just don't ignore that Jesus gave Peter alone the keys to the Kingdom and the power to bind and loose on earth and in heaven.

Look I've ridden this bull in this rodeo with you cowboys for years. You need to do better my friend.

No, you need to have the correct understanding of Matthew 16:19, which is indicated by Matthew 18:18, which indicates that all Christians have the keys or power of binding and loosing. What that means is not specified, but "whatever" seems to be akin to "whatever" is asked in prayer in Mark 11:24, which other passages (e.g., Matt. 26:39-42) clarify means that which accords with God's will--which makes perfect sense.

By "correct" I take it to mean the way you understand it. Hilarious. In Matthew 18:18 Jesus isn't talking to all Christians he is talking to the disciples.

What you need to do is show evidence that "your" understanding of Scripture is authoritative. Thus far though all I see, is someone else told you that Jesus is talking to all Christians in Matt 18:18 even though he isn't. If you REALLY believe you have the authority to bind and loose on earth and in heaven then you're way outside the realm of reality.

Not sure why you understand my understanding as "hilarious", nor why you see Jesus speaking only to the Twelve rather than to all disciples in Matt. 18:18, but I have shown more evidence than you (Mark 11:24) and have as much authority as whoever told you differently. In heaven we will learn whose understanding of reality is within the realm, but you seem to be blind, so I will enlarge the print:
binding and loosing must be in accordance with God's will.
