I think spending time together is good for a couple, I don't mean to say that couples can never be apart or there are marriages where they never see each other or can't keep in close contact.

I think the reality is for a lot of couples they are both working (at different jobs) and are too busy trying to afford the cost of living.

But yea app is a tool. I guess it's a thing now for everyone to be on their phones. Sigh.
That’s actually a big part of why I built it. I completely agree that nothing replaces sitting together, praying together, opening a Bible or simply talking about faith. But like you said, life gets busy. The idea isn’t to get couples on their phones more, it’s to take a few minutes they’re probably already on their phones and turn some of that time toward God and each other. If the app eventually leads to a conversation, prayer together, or opening the Bible together, then for me it’s done its job. Test it out with your spouse and let me know what you guys think.

I always wondered what day/night was 'date night'

Friday? Saturday?

Or maybe Wednesday, as thats the night most churches have as Bible Study night or 'life group'

Husband and I do a date hour on Mondays and Thursdays. We work on projects, watch a movie, talk, read together (yes, from a real book and not a device. Lol.), etc.
"Date Night" is whatever works for the couple.

🤷‍♀️

You don't ever read real books together?

Did you ever read books to your children in bed or do you just call them on the phone.
We do read real books together. And to the kids.

I noticed you didn't answer my question...are you just annoyed at the idea of reading on a device vs a real book? Do you dislike ebooks? (I do).
