Do not fear the bad news! Fear sin against Jesus!
“Do not say, A conspiracy! to everything of which this people says, A conspiracy! And do not fear their fear, nor be afraid. Sanctify Jehovah of Hosts Himself, and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread. And He shall be a sanctuary for you…” (Isaiah 8.12-14). Like Jesus said:
Not to mention that There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He who fears has not been perfected in love (1John 4.18).
Instead of fearing the evil, love the good. Which is stronger: the hatred of the enemy for us or the love of Christ for them through us? Which is more intense: the harm that the enemy can cause us or the blessing of Jesus changing all reality around us?
So, have a nice weekend without never fainting of doing the will of Jesus, inasmuch as in Him our work isn’t in vain (1Cor 15.58):
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap. For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit. But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.” (Gal 6.7-9).
- “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in Jehovah shall be safe.” (Proverbs 29.25).
