Do people in your school know that you are a christian ?

Do people in your school know that you are a christian ?
I always found it hard to tell, but lately everybody knows because I am not ashamed of Jesus.
 
Good, David. I know you love Jesus. To me you are special. If I were your mother, I would be very proud of you.

When I was still at school or college, they knew I was a christian.

PS: Hope the teenagers don't mind my posting here. : )

That's nice of you : )

By some people you can see that they are christians, I want to be such a person, I want to spread Jesus's love.
I will think of ways to reach my fellow classmates, does anybody have former experience with this ?
 
Everyone that saw me in the high school cafeteria knew I was a Christian because I mad the sign of the cross before I ate lunch.
 
Well...some do, and some don't. The majority don't know that I'm a Christian, but if I do show that I'm a Christian, some of my friends aren't cool with me. They even challenge the Bible and start bringing up these "scientific facts" that I really don't have a response to. I'm a new Christian, but not that new.

Trying to argue with your friends won't get them any closer to God. How are others suppose to know we are disciples?

John 13:35

New International Version (NIV)

35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”


Jesus told us that we would be persecuted for our believes but if we stay firm in our believes greater is our love.

What did Jesus tell us to do go and tell everyone spread the good news.Mark 16:15

There were some Mennonites at a flower shop near the school, that we could see through the window. Some of my classmates began talking about them, and saying "why are there Amish driving cars?" To which I began explaining some Anabaptist history. One of the girls, who attended a private Lutheran schools prior to high school, asked why I knew so much about religion. I'd also had the chance to explain a lot of theology in a sociology class, where we talked about religion in America. I had been asked the same question in that class, and gave the same answer. "I have a vested interested". This time she asked what I meant. I stated, "I shave spent almost every day after school learning something about theology, or theology related subjects, for the last six months." She asked, "So do you have a religion?" What was my response? "I don't have a religion, per se, but I would tend to agree on most theological issues with those Mennonites accross the street."

Thus, it was out. The once prideful, and arrogant "lol, christians are dumb" atheist, had switched sides.
 
Yes but thats not saying much because im the only one in my school- Im homeschooled.
 
They never asked...so no...i dont go around screaming "IM A CHRISTIAN"
 
David, I wish my 16 year old son knew you. Please keep letting the light shine so that others can see and unite in faith to glorify the Lord. Thank you for being a young man with integrity.
 
I guess in the States no one really cares what your religion is lol I'm Christian, my best friend is Jewish...ish.. My gf is buddhist, some of my brothers are atheist, catholic, agnostic, jewish, one hindu... And no one fights. If only the WHOLE world could take after my little circle of friends =/
 
I don't really talk about my own life to classmates, the ones i get along with though, mostly know i'm christian.
95% of my friends do too, i always wear these WWJD wristbands :p, People at work often ask me what it is for and i explain it to them, not really ashamed of that i guess.

Haha with you on that one though, i really don't like putting attention to myself and i don't really talk alot about myself :p.
 
Yes, I tell people in my school that I am. They also know from my behavior, I refuse to curse and do other non Christian things. I don't scream it out, and I don't wear Christian t-shirts and wristbands. I do carry a new Testament bible around in my book bag though.

Yes, yes, they know and that's a verynice thing because they respect me and we have a prayer group at school, and I'd love you all to pray for that"@!!

I wore a WWJD wristband and a I love Jesus wristband once and some people came up and said "ewww, why are you wearing that ? Throw it away, it's useless. "
Haha, like I listen to that kind of remarks !

Haha yea sometimes people can be very immature about it, don't listen to it though, who cares about what the people say! it's about other things you know :)
 
im a pretty scary and intimidating guy, apparently, so people dont dare say anything...i wore a shir that said march for jesus, people looked at it but no one made a comment
