Do we are ready for the blessings of the Creator?
• Pro 20:21 -> “An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.”.
I know that, when we desire a blessing, we crave for it as soon as possible. Many times, we made the mistake quoted below:
• Pro 23:4,5 -> “Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist. When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.”.
Those who strain to get rich, end up leaving behind what is most important (for instance, love, peace, relish, true relationships). Hence the Holy Scripture says:
• Pro 28:20 -> “A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.”.
• Pro 28:22 -> “A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.”.
Not to mention that, in order to enrich, many people entangle themselves in bad activities:
• 1Ti 6:9 -> “But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.”.
And the worst (or better, depending on the point of view) is that such people won’t get profit of this wealth acquired:
• Pro 28:8 -> “Whoever multiplies his wealth by interest and profit gathers it for him who is generous to the poor.”.
• Job 27:16,17 -> “Though he heap up silver like dust, and pile up clothing like clay, he may pile it up, but the righteous will wear it, and the innocent will divide the silver.”
• Hab 2:6-8 -> “Shall not all these take up their taunt against him, with scoffing and riddles for him, and say, “Woe to him who heaps up what is not his own— for how long?— and loads himself with pledges! Will not your debtors suddenly arise, and those awake who will make you tremble? Then you will be spoil for them. Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the peoples shall plunder you, for the blood of man and violence to the earth, to cities and all who dwell in them. ”.
So, have a good day abiding by Jesus’ commandment:
• Joh 6:27 -> “Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” “.
Keep always in mind: take care of what is most important, that is to say, your intimacy with Jesus, family, friends.
