Do you believe that it is difficult to seek the Creator (as it is enjoined in Isa 55:6)?
The Creator always wished to break all the hindrances that keep us at bay from Him. So much so that He sent Jesus in order to suffer all the chastisement which was on us (Isa 53:4-6).
Nonetheless, we insist on rise many barriers. Although the life in the sin is very distressful, many people prefer this than the yoke of Jesus, which is easy and light (Mat 11:30; 1John 5:3). However, if we believe in Jesus to the point of overturning all these impediments which we own raise, we will be able to experiment all the good smell of His word (2Cor 2:14-16).
Understand: Jesus teared apart all that could set us apart from Him. If we still can’t feel His presence and hear His voice is because we are shoring up in our life something that has nothing to do with Him.
To be precise: if the Creator says us to go to the right and we go to the left, how can we expect that He talk to us? Do we think that He will direct us to be prosperous in a place that He didn’t prepare for us? Even though we say that we desire to glorify His name there, once we are in the wrong place, we are showing that we believe that our ideas or plans are better than what the Creator prepared for us.
If we crave for being used by Jesus, we need to hear His voice, go to where He projected for us and be with alacrity for doing His will, whatever it is.
Moreover, don’t limit the Creator to what your mind can figure out (see Act 16:20,21) and accept. Recall that:
• Eph 3:20 -> “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,”.
Many times, we don’t receive the blessing because we are making the same mistake than Naaman:
• 2Ki 5:11 -> “And Naaman was wroth, and went away and said, Behold, I thought, He will certainly come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Jehovah his God, and wave his hand over the place, and cure the leper.”.
Note that, for him, get the healing wasn’t sufficient. The prophet had to do the things exactly how he imagined in his heart.
And the worst is that, many times, we are saying to Jesus what He has to do (as if He needed this!).
So, have a good day being careful about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Phil 4:6); and, of course, resting and biding in Him until He carry out HIS WORK AT HIS WAY (Isa 55:10,11).
