Absolutely Diane. Both men and women should stay and remain virgins until they get married. It is the Biblical thing to do.

Yeah. Why is this a men only thing? Or rather, why do your posts seem to be focused on what MEN 'should' do?
But yes, IF they are a virgin they should stay a virgin. Same as a woman. Regardless of if they marry or not. But if they already have had sex, then it shouldn't matter either. Peoples pasts shouldn't be held against them. What matters is their actions and heart Now, not what it was before.

Yes I believe men should be virgins before they marry. Furthermore, I believe that they should flee from sexual immorality in all forms - that means killing lust before it takes root. By this I mean not lusting over any woman (including their fiance) until they are married. Oh, and no touching yourself.

I do think it is important to maintain virginity until marriage. Now, I realize we do live in the 21st century and know that people do make mistakes. So I would not consider it a deal breaker if he has had premarital relations.

It's not really a question of what we think is it? As Christians our standard is found in the Word alone. There isn't room for personal opinions. Scripture makes it explicit that God intended relationships as a union. Sexual relations are reserved for the marriage bond.
