Do you desire that your prayer pass through the roof and arrive in the heaven?
I don’t. I own up that I don’t understand why Jeremiah said that the Israel’s prayers didn’t pass through the cloud that the Creator used to cover Himself. Nevertheless, what makes me more baffled is that, nowadays, the Church keeps on believing that something can debar our prayers of arriving to the Creator.
Who is this God in whom you have been believing? The true God is omniscient, He know everything that we plan on saying, even before there is a word in our tongue (Psalms 139.4). Regrettably, we perpetuate the same mistake of Adam: blame the Creator for the crimes we perpetrate (Genesis 3.12). See, for instance, this excerpt of the Holy Scripture:

So, open and purify your heart and mind, and you will see Jesus close to you (Matthew 28.20; Acts 17.25-28; Revelation 3.18), ready to hear your voice (1Peter 3.10-12). Have a good day resting in His presence (Psalms 37.7).
