do you ever feel like giving up?

have you ever feel like giving up waiting for GOD's best?

what you usually do if your waiting for someone and in the end GOD is saying NO....

And how do you know He is actually saying no?
 
It sucks to wait with uncertainty but my mother always told me man's rejection is God's protection so maybe some things are for the best and there is something more important that will fulfill any desire you have
 
Your question reminds me all the times in the past when i thought i was going to give up and to lose hope and then God surprised me with something amazing and then i saw that he is God again, many times i have asked many things to him i thought it was a "no" but after that he gave me something different but better that i didnt think before, and in all those times he always protected me, so, now i never give up. There are sometimes that he doesnt give me what i ask and feel kind of sad but then i remember those times in my past and trust that if He doesnt give me something is because is the best for me and my life.
 
@Liz01..that's very very true. He comes true for us when we ask and if He feels like it right for us! He knows what's right for us. We just have to trust Him. It's true though that we don't want some things and they don't happen for us..That has happened to me..and I did get despondent. But later on, I realized it was for the better anyway. Sometimes however I did ask for something and he did give it to me and then it worked out negatively, with lots of sadness, then I questioned why He let that happen to me to hurt me so?? But maybe one day down the road I will see where this all fell into place in the history of my life.
 
yes chich, i think that God is sad too if we are sad but he cant gives us all what we want, i think is similar to the father to his son, i dont have children yet, but i have seen that almost all the fathers want the best for their kids so they dont give them what they want but what they need.

Kids earn what they get and they don't give up as often.

I don't, try not to. But if you ever do feel like giving up, if you give IT (whatever 'it' is to God, then it will be fleeing, thank God for that.
 
I've always thought that God wouldn't bring me to something if WE (key word) couldn't get through it. In my mind, giving up is telling God I either don't have the faith, or he isn't strong enough to get through "it".

Yeah, I have felt like giving up many tmes than i can count :)... But looking back at ALL what HE has done for me makes me hold on and trust that in His time it will happen.

If God says no, then giving up or struggling on will make no difference. lol It'll only maybe make you more depressed or more at peace with yourself depending on your outlook on life. I think God is going to say no to me for anyone who is not his best, so it would not make sense to date anyone other than the best. And if the whole world is full of godless people, then I imagine he wouldn't send anyone my way because it would be better for me to spend 60 years suffering and an eternity of bliss with him than to be led astray to destruction for 60 years of punctuated strife and pleasure.

its true that giving up is not the solution... still we need to TRUST in HIS plans coz GOD knows what is best for us...
we just need to be still and wait patiently :)

--- if you give your kid college for free then they won't appreciate it like if they paid own way . Maybe parent can do a matching gift to what kid pays.

Personally, I would never wait for 'someone,' never met her, but, ah, now, IF you were meaning to refer to 'anyone,', now there'.s the girl that I'd be after :D

I gave up almost a year ago. I figured that God is going to do whatever he pleases... therefore... I give up.
