I expect a certain amount of childish and lazy name-calling and personal attacks when online, but I'd hoped for better in my interactions with other Christians.
But it seems that one of the aspects of Trump's character that they like and identify with is his childish name calling. And when you see it enough times, you can't help but conclude that that's just who they are.
Probably because they found it wasn't resonating much with his base, so he dropped it. You're probably right too, that saying you're against anti-fascism isn't really a good look (makes ya look like you're pro fascism
