The Holy Spirit is convicting me to take a stand for Jesus and in doing so, I am asking all Christians to do the same. The Bible clearly informs us that Christians must correct other Christians. Please read this in its entirey and feel free to comment, forward, and of course ... stand upfor Jesus!!!



The Unthinkable


Never thought I would see the day when I’d be ashamed to be a Christian
Unfortunately, this day is here
In no way do I reject Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior
The teachings in the Bible still ring true
The problem is with “Christians” themselves
The Bible I read has no room for complying


God's words to us tell us to change and be Christ-like, not to adapt to the liberal world
Yet Christians stand by and see the Bible ridiculed
The Presbyterians just ordained an active homosexual as minister
God Himself destroyed cities for this same reason
How much more will He hold His church accountable?
Fear of judgment on all Christians should be among us


Although the church is and has been split for too long
The time for God's children to stand in unity is here
Tell the world you are a Christian
Inform the people homosexuality is:
A choice
Unnatural
Immoral
And most importantly, a sin


God sees no degree to sin, all sin is equal
So, if you are Christian, prove it!
Boldly pick up your pen and cross
Deny yourself daily
And let the world know God's word is true

Good post. Sad to see the name of Christ getting a bad reputation.

Maybe part of our talk when talk with unbelievers ought to be about the difference between those who obey the given word, walk by the Spirit or whatever and those who just call themselves Christians. It can lead to conversation about a complete transformation of the heart, and dying to self, so important but often missed (?) these days.

I, personally, don't feel the fallings of other Christians falls on me, but, yeah, I've always felt strongly about the unity since I read John 17:20-23 many years ago: If it's a prayer of Christ, let me not fail to keep it the top priority. (Quoted below for easy access.)
