Do you know how to use your tongue?
It isn’t secret that, the way that we use to talk to someone make all difference:
• Pro 15:1 -> “A soft answer turns away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger.”.
Examples of this can be seen in the Holy Scripture (for instance, 2Sam 20:17-22; 1Sam 25:10-35; Jdg 8:1-3).
And the worst is that, when we misuse our tongue, the sin is multiplied (Prov 10:19; James 3:5,6):
• Pro 29:22 -> “An angry man stirs up fighting, and a furious man abounds in sin.”.
Considering that ours sins make us draw back from the Creator (Isa 59:1,2), we need to be careful about the main things which stir up the fight in our life: hatred and proudness:
• Pro 28:25 -> “He who is of a proud heart stirs up fighting; but he who puts his trust in Jehovah shall be made fat.”;
• Pro 10:12 -> “Hatred stirs up fights, but love covers all sins.”.
Besides, if we yearn for being called son of the Creator, we need to be pacifiers (Mat 5:9). And this is known as it is shown below:
• Pro 15:18 -> “A wrathful man stirs up fighting, but one slow to anger calms fighting.”.
And not only this! Did you know that a soft tongue has a more superior power than beat up somebody?
• Pro 25:15 -> “In being slow to anger a ruler is won over, and a soft tongue breaks the bone.”.
So, have a excellent day asking for the Creator the same privilege that he promised to Moses and he turned down, namely, that He can be with your mouth (Exodus 4:12).
