The problem is not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" is a True Christian!
Matthew 7:21-23
[SUP]21 [/SUP] "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
[SUP]23 [/SUP] And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
Just because a Catholic claims he is following God does not mean he has received Salvation.
The sheep of God does hear His voice and follow Him. But you cannot say you are a sheep of God if you follow and Worship Mary!
Sure i would want to give you an 'A' for your short quotation about the Catholic 'heresy' and most probably GOD willing in the name of LORD JESUS CHRIST you may 'lead' the Catholic believers from their 'heresy' and give 'homage' to GOD's every Word in the HOLY BIBLE. Initially GOD is doing this through HIS believers over the years. Many have become 'born again' and are in non-catholic church practicing HOLY BIBLE Word/Teaching of CHRIST JESUS our LORD, abiding in HIS 'every Word/Teaching' and 'bearing much fruit' and making sure that 'their fruit is also abiding'.
We are in the midst of a 'multitude' of witnesses, and we can't hide anything. And moreover a number of unbelievers have also read the HOLY BIBLE and have given up on them. Also many of them will be 'witnesses' on 'judgement day'.
JESUS said,
"You will know them by their fruit.
For a start and for a Good GOD who loves all of us, let us therefore do a 'reality check' on ourselves first, and then our born again churches and then the Catholic, by using the New Covenant/Testament text and in context what CHRIST called us to 'do'?
Have we individually diligently 'hear' and 'practice/do'
these word/teaching of CHRIST and are ourselves as 'wise builders'?
Therefore have all the born again churches have produced such 'good fruit' together as gathered?
Again first of all, have you 'practice' and 'abide' in all of them and 'bear much fruit' and 'made sure your fruit also abide'?
The thing about Catholic being said once or twice is understandable, but the same thing over and over again, is enough already, and as though the other accusing 'party' have not sinned. This is how 'weak believers' of the Protestants/Reformers in the beginning who started a revolution against the Catholics. On one account when Martin Luther was in 'witness protection' living in a secluded location, in a mansion, planned and aided and funded by a 'Duke' for his safety from persecution opposing 'papacy'. Therefore in his absence, his followers were stirred up by one or more among them about the wrong things and doings of 'papacy' and their 'middle class citizen' followers. Then they manage to start a revolution and went on a 'rampage' against them.
And when Martin Luther got the news, he took the risk and exposed himself and stopped it from spreading, even to a point most probably a 'civil war'. Martin Luther was disgusted and rebuked his 'weak followers' for the savage.
"Before we cast stones at 'outsiders', we must learn and be wise in order to know about the 'rock' that can fall upon us pretty hard and we will never make it for forever."
On the day of our JESUS of Nazareth, that 'adulteress' were considered as an 'outsider', who was caught in the very act and who have sinned against their 'Spiritual law'. Righteous people were ready to stone her to death, in 'ignorance' to the ones they have committed themselves and about to commit. JESUS is 'Wonderful', who saved the day for 'both parties' and disperse them in 'peace' and 'peace with GOD'.
