It Isn't Easy,
Of course that is the ideal but at this point we are
not living in the ideal. Does that mean we should
give up. Of course not, we should strive for the
ideal even knowing that it is almost impossible to
reach. It seems that we are not wired to love or
event look at an enemy. But that type of thing has
to start somewhere. As we sit here now, it would
not be possible to go somewhere into the battle
grounds and stand there an say I love you. But if
we were able to take a small step, to one person
and forgive them and tell them we forgive them, is
that possible. Should we try or should we leave it
to God to forgive. If we don't forgive, does it hurt
the person we offended or does it hurt ourselves.
We can't be sure but one thing we can be sure of
is that it will strengthen us and it will help us to come
to terms with our missteps.
