And that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the Temple
of God , God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are. ( end quote )

many have asked, how you know you are the temple of God. To be the temple of God
we have to surrender completely to God. It becomes all Gods way not our way. it is
not possible to ge there by reading. It needs to do meditation between ourself and God
the endless result is bliss.

The answer to your question is given in the verse ,we just believe what it actually says ,surely?

It is also important to know that the Scripture is speaking of our hearts. That is where the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit resides, and He will NOT reside in a heart that is not pure.

This pretty much disqualifies everyone from salvation :(

no one is perfect, because no one has a pure heart (yet)

There is much more depth to the answer, just reading the verse
is Still being in the flesh, actually going what the verse says is living in the Spirit.

true

I would say further that every washed in the blood Saint is a mobile tabernacle in God's Temple Peter and Paul make it clear every Believer is a tabernacle, just as Christ was the perfect one: (Heb 9:11):

2Pe 1:13 Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;

2Pe 1:14 Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

2Co_5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2Co_5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Christ sprinkled His spiritual tabernacles in His Blood:

Heb 9:21 And in the same way he sprinkled both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry with the blood.

The antiChrist will hate "His tabernacle" and be given permission to overcome them during the second 42 months of the Tribulation:

Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
