Do you prefer/use a physical or electronic Bible?

I always preferred physical bibles but I just recently got a iPad mini and its so convient reading the bible on my tablet!

what do you prefer and if you use electronic what app do you use?

I don't like making marks in my paper Bible so I enjoy the ipad because I underline and make notes

I think paper bibles are a good testimony, i.e people know when i leave house for a meeting they can cleaely see my bible with HOLY BIBLE written on it lol.

but electronic bibles are handy for quick referencing, for travelling, notes and devotionals.

All I will say is, your paper bible isn't relient on battery charge

neither is better in my opinion, but each have their own pros and cons

I have to charge my electronic Bible, my physical Bible charges me.

I use both, but I prefer the physical Bible (although it's less convenient, and more difficult to handle in warm/hot weather).

i prefer physical Bible. in my sunday school class, i have my students use physical bibles so they know what book is where. i know they can do this with their bible app (if they have it), but i prefer them to search by turning pages.

now when i can't remember where a particular verse is, i use electronic bible for the search (or even the internet lol).

I still prefer to bring my physical BIBLE in church. I have nothing against people using their cellphone or tablets in church as long as it wont be hindrance in worshiping God.

Reading on a laptop or tablet is easier for me because I can jump around instantly without having to flip pages. Plus there is the added benefit of having virtually every translation in one place.

It's the same message either way. I like the convenience of being able to cross reference translations quickly with resources like biblehub and biblegateway, while giving someone a physical Bible is more personal than an electronic device (and more affordable).

Both have their pros and cons.

Electronic is great for keyword searching to find that particular verse you are after and cannot remember where it is.

However physical is better for your eyes with reading.

I use my physical bible because I enjoy actually reading from a page rather than online, it helps me understand it better. Plus, my bible I got as a gift several years ago and it is pretty worn, but I enjoy it. Almost every page has either writing or highlighter on it.
