YES!! YES!! for sure God has the best funniest sense of humor!!! Proverbs 17:22 speaks of a merry heart.

"A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones." Amplified Bible

God is so much for joy and happiness and laughter that being merry is health to our bones! It's like good medicine!! Even studies have been done about laughing and how our bodies give off certain chemicals that help the body work better and even help in healing.

And yes LadyBlue cats are hilarious and so are dogs!! The expressions on their faces!! and the smart allicy things they do!! I think God allowed someone to purposefully invent Youtube! Did you see the one about the cucumber on the floor next to the cat and dog food bowls?? hahahahaha

There are all kinds of animals engaged in super funny things like taking food or trying to sneak things when the owner goes to work. It was God's idea to make a dog and cat smart enough to reason out that once the owner goes out the door for work, they can get into the food and lay on the couch and go on the owners bed. But soon as it hits a certain time, off they run to their allowed spot. Pretending they did nothing wrong.

Horses, donkeys, deer, all kinds of animals doing antics even birds. Did anyone see the baby elephant splashing on the ocean shore and running into the waves and running out? .

Only God would think to make animals enjoy life the way they do. They just bask in His creation when they get the opportunity. If He has done that with animals, how much more with us!! Enjoying life is a good thing and a gift. Sometimes it's the little things in life that are the most funny.

We need to be EVEN MORE JOYFUL when things get rough here on earth. The Bible tells us to KEEP our MINDS on things that are good....The Joy of the Lord is our strength.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.

It also says to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I believe God gives us many safety valves for difficult times. Joy and laughter and a good sense of humor is for sure some of them.

Whatever gave/gives Him pleasure still does...such as His children

Thought that too but on the other hand well it's not humor, but there's joy in heaven with all those muslims that get saved, the harvest coming in, the multitude that's uncountable has to come in, He laughs at and mocks His enemies that stand up against His people.

I think that sarcasm and certain forms of sassy-ness come from humor and reading the NT you'll see that Paul is full of sarcasm and Jesus full of sass.

Isaac (the son of promise) actually means "he laughs".

It says, there is a time to weep and a time to laugh (Ecc 3:4) even as Jesus said, blessed are those who weep (now) for ye shall laugh (Luke 6:21) but woe to you who laugh now for ye shall weep (Luke 6:25) is an expression of those times.

Jesus himself wept, he being a man of sorrows, aquainted with grief. He was laughed at and mocked, But through that and for the joy set before him he endured the cross where it speaks of him that sitteth in the heavens (at that time) shall laugh (and in that particular case) would have them in derision.

Psalm 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh:
the Lord shall have them in derision

That might also show the context in which our Lord shall laugh (and at what)

God having fulfilled the second psalm Acts 13:33 and again (His turn to laugh)

There is a time to laugh. Although, it's probably not the best time when at what God is promising

But man sins, and we cant say God must sin since we are made in his image right?

Some comparisons dont work, after all we are told to put off foolish jesting (which is humor) but is there such a thing as wise jesting?

He does for me.

-- I ask him for a sign, he gives me a choir singing Handel's Messiah. (Honest. He really had a choir singing the Hallelujah Chorus as I rose to that floor in the elevator. lol)

-- I'm exhausted, stop at the grocery store, but come home so late, I realize I won't be able to park within two blocks of my house. How do I bring in the groceries? So I ask God for some spot on my block. The spot in front of my front door waits for me. (Three steps between the trunk of my car and my steps.)

-- I forget to ask another night. It's late, cold, and raining. I have to walk half a mile home. (No groceries though.)

-- Hubby's getting an operation at noon, and I want to be there when he wakes up, but, once again -- grocery shopping. They had a sale on my brand of soda, but my kind (diet decaf) wasn't available. All I wanted was a rain check, but no, they'll bring some to me. 40 minutes later, I've checked out, find the type they gave me in a rush as I was having my groceries rung up was the wrong type, and I'm furious. So I ask God to calm me down as I drive home, so I don't kill anyone on the road. Green lights for two miles on a road that never ever has green lights when I drive down it, and it's a major traffic hubby in South Philly -- between the docks where tractor trailers haul stuff unloaded from around the hemisphere followed directly by our football and baseball stadiums, so no way aren't those redlights. I'm happy when I get home. The one mile of expressway between my house and the hospital is at a stand still. Hubby got the operation early that morning. lol

I can't imagine any of this isn't intentional from God. He's just constantly reminding me that everything I want comes from him... and the stuff I don't want does too. lol

God absolutely has a sense of humor. He is very amusing at times. The talking donkey in the book of Numbers was very funny.
