Assuming you believe God has a particularly person for you, (this thread is not to debate this).. I have heard two main types of thought about how a person meets and finds this special person.
One is that you must seek and you will find. This is supported by the verses about seeking and finding, and whoever finds a wife..etc etc as the bible says...
The other idea is that you must wait and God will send you your wife or husband. The analogy is that if you don't look for love, it will find you, if you look for it and if you try to seek it yourself you will miss that special person because it is your efforts and you aren't letting God work.
Both of these ideas seem to conflict. What do you think, and which one is correct.
