Seems to be just another clickbait headline:

This article in question, from Popular Mechanics, titled:
"German Doctors Are Attempting To Reverse Death And Resurrect Humans"
goes on to list absolutely zero breakthroughs in either reversing death or resurrecting humans.
It's just an article about a new cryogenics company, where they freeze you, cross their fingers, toss a penny in the wishing well, and hope that one day somebody somewhere will have the technology to fix you.
They even admit that so far, nobody even has the technology yet to even unfreeze you.
It's just a lot of cold temperatures and wishful thinking... and the owner making a lot of money, lol.

Well, most of us knew this , lol, but the topic in question is that revelations verse now and @MessengerofTruth is linking this to resurrecting the dead (assuming we humans might accomplish this some day) so I’d like to know more of his thoughts on the subject.
Well... let's just cut to the chase.
This cannot be the "first step" toward the stuff in Revelation, because the "this" doesn't actually exist... and if it doesn't exist, then it by definition can't be a step toward anything.
Perhaps one day the "this" will exist... and perhaps not... but it seems silly to speculate about something fulfilling prophecy, when that something doesn't yet exist, and may never exist.

Just because some particular speculation seems silly to me, doesn't mean people don't have the right, or the freedom, to speculate about whatever they like.

Late to the game, but Yes I have no doubt there will be an Antichrist. If you have eyes that can see and ears that can hear, his minions are all around us...AKA, many Antichrists.
Anti....means to be opposed to..or the opposite of...Christ. Look at the teachings in the mainstream churches today. Match them up to what Jesus taught in his Gospel, and you will see very quickly they oppose his message of salvation.
Take for instance (John 14:21) Jesus teaches his Father loves those who "keep his commandments." Mainstream churches teach oppose this teaching, saying, "God loves everyone". Therefore it doesn't matter if they serve sin or serve righteousness.
Jesus taught in (John 8:34) that everyone who sins is a slave of sin. Mainstream churches oppose this teaching too, by telling folks when they are "Born Again", though they still sin, they are not slaves of sin.
Of course this is according to their definition of being "Born Again"...not the bibles. 1 John 3:9-10)
