I put together the video below by using quotes I took from some sermons by 19th century preacher Charles Spurgeon, where he was specifically preaching about Jesus on the Cross.

For the background music, I used an instrumental piano version of the song "Were You There When They Crucified My Lord"

Isn't God a good God. Isn't He everything we need . Praise God. He might not be on our time but He is always in time praise God. I meant, He knows what we need and when we need it, Glory to His name. He is my rock and my strong and mighty tower, He is my fortress and my deliver and in Him will I trust. He set my feet on higher ground and glory to God I'm heaven bound. He set me free yes He set me free. I just got to praise Him. Cause once like a bird in prison I dwelt no freedom from my sorrow I felt then Jesus came and listen to me and glory to God He set me free. He set me free yes He set me free He broke the chains of prison for me.

The only thing I did was believe. Praise His Holy Name

Thank you Jesus for being everything I need for life and godliness! Thank you for the cross and for the deep love that you and the Father have for us! Thank you for loving us enough to die that we might live and be free from death and bondage! Thank you Lord!

How wonderful it is that the saints of God can come together in unity and praise His Holy name! This is one of the things I most look forward to when I get to Heaven.

Kerry I NEVER believed in the piece of wood, NEVER. I believed in the power of the Man on the cross. His work did not STOP when He died on the cross. He only finished the OLD man I was on the cross. Did Paul not say he was crucified with Christ? Well he was still a puppy when Jesus died. A Pharisee puppy at that.

But the WORK of Jesus, BEYOND THE CROSS, was what made Saul the pharisee (sinner) Paul (the Aposptle of God) holy man.


I do believe the death of my Lord Jesus is what gets me cleansed, but it is His resurrection that makes me a NEW CREATURE... One exactly like Himself in flesh... Holy and perfect.... It is the work AFTER the cross that makes me a child of God. It is the filling of the Holy Spirit that is my salvation. The cross cleanse me, and the Spirit CONFESS GOD IN ME.


May God complete me as he does all His children. Amen!

And you can't see how valuable the work of the cross is that changed a christian killer into a preacher of the cross? when I say the cross I'm not talking about a piece of wood, I'm talking about the work or sacrifice that was on it. Neither I nor you are worth a grain of salt unless our faith is in the cross.

Kerry, why do you want me to believe in the work of the cross? I believe in the God that gave His life on a cross. I do not need to call it BELIEVE IN THE CROSS... I am not stuck at the cross.

My man tell me where is your heart? With the Lord on the cross or with the Lord that the cross could not silence? The cross might have him give up the Spirit, but the Lord of all LIVING gave Him back the Spirit. The crosswork is DONE! Jesus said it is FINISHED... Maybe you should try to look what a life there is BEYOND the cross...

You know there is a life BEYOND the cross do you not. This life STARTS at teh cross, not END at the cross....

Kerry stop making the cross the ALL of God it is NOT! God is way more that a Man that died on a cross... His Work to the cross was a small part of ALL His work. The BIG things is not at the cross or before the cross it is BEYOND the cross.

God's power to have His Son die on the cross is not eve nclose to God's Power to resurrect Him and take him from the bowels of the earth and RAISE Him to sit on His right hand.... And that is where God wants you.... I the precense of Himself.

Kerry God wants to glorify you to be in HIM and HE IN you... he cannot do it if you are not crucified with Christ. So Kerry get DONE with the cross,..... Take up your cross and follow Jesus so he can give you the life BEYOND the cross... A life of a Righteous man that will NEVER need the cross again NEVER....

Cobus I do not but I do want you to believe in the work of the cross as God does also. Without the cross you are nothing, you chaff for the fire. The whole thing hinges on the cross. Are you that self righteous that you no longer need the cross?

Like Paul in the cross. In the cross I bore behind Jesus for HE lead me to the DEATH of the old and to the NEW life IN CHRIST .... The cross is PAST Kerry. Also I do not have to boast at all.... Let God just live in me and HE will MOVE all of me HIS WAY...

Kerry, Jesus is alive... Let Him live in you and then you will have peace and rest.... He will be the One in you... ALIVE AND PERFECT!
