Not always. Sometimes, you only find a "no".
God had that someone for you or them even when it's a "no". Possible learning experience for you or them given by God.

Does God Have Someone for Everyone? i once got into a conversation about this... I think it's an interesting subject. Currently my view is no, God does not have someone for everyone. What I see in the Bible is an interesting combination of things. When you start in Genesis, God created one man and then one woman. They had no choice but to be married. And it appears that it was God's design for every man to have a woman, and the human race would just keep multiplying. Then sin came into the world. Things got all messed up. There were men marrying more then one woman. Then sometime around Jesus, it seems that things changed again. It seems to me that God says, if you can get married good, but if you can't it's ok because it isn't for everyone. It isn't an easy life. But then again, life isn't easy either way. Go ahead and tell me what you think.
Depends on what His purpose is for us. There are no doubt people out there that will complement each other, and if God is not against you marrying, I suspect as far as Christians are concerned, He will try and help them meet up.

Does God have someone for everyone?..

With the exception of a few rare instances in Genesis, finding a suitable companion will involve some investigative efforts on your part. That's not to say He won't help you with the process. He will bring things to light about your date/significant interest/ boyfriend/girlfriend and then you gotta make a decision on what you know.

Thats all I got at the moment.

I remember a co-worker who used to give me a hard time. This guy claimed to be a Christian, but I choose not to judge anyone's salvation, although sometimes I admit that I form opinions that maybe I should or shouldn't form. But just to give me a hard time he would quote me this: "be fruitful, and multiply". Which comes from a long list of scriptures in the King James Version.
Link: https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=be+fruitful,+and+multiply&version=KJV

I would often try to quote this one. This comes from the NiV. But to be fair, I grew up on the NiV.

1 Corinthians 7

Concerning the Unmarried

25Now about virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. 26Because of the present crisis, I think that it is good for a man to remain as he is. 27Are you pledged to a woman? Do not seek to be released. Are you free from such a commitment? Do not look for a wife. 28But if you do marry, you have not sinned; and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face many troubles in this life, and I want to spare you this.

I'm not going to argue with scripture. But this is an interesting passage. The first thing He says. "I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy." Over the years i have gotten two kinds of advice. 1) You need to get out more. In other words go out and meet people. Maybe you'll find someone. or Number 2) Do nothing and wait on the Lord, in his timing He will bring you the right person. These people speak from personal experiences, but they really don't seem get their ideas from scripture it's self.

For anyone that has been reading my prayer requests, you know that i have some physical and mental problems. And those problems combined with work problems, are just bad enough that I can't "get out more". Besides that, around where I live, I've looked for local groups, and there really isn't very many for a guy like me to choose from. It seems like that most people here, find their mates either in High School, College, Church, or Work. For me High School is over. I never went to College. Church fell apart. And work? All you need to do is read my posts about what I go through with work, to know how that's been going. Of course the next suggestion is online dating. I've tried it! I could write you a whole paragraph about how bad that went!

It does seem like you've been backed into a corner. I get that. I can't find a church with a decent singles population, I'm in an age group that's hard to find decent single women (and if I pursue someone younger, I become a perv in the eyes of many -- who have been attached for decades, BTW), and even meetup groups have not been very helpful.

What do you do? Don't know. Both approaches you described seem to work. But, that seems to depend on how God wants to deal with you personally.

After all these years of talking about this! You wouldn't believe how refreshing it is, to finally read someone say "you've been backed into a corner." I swear a lot of so called Christians act more like the atheist who says, "All you got to do is pull yourself up by your own bootstraps". I'm like, "Either you depend on the Lord or you don't!"

I do believe that some are given grace so they have no need of marriage. So with that said, I am a romantic at the core of me so I find I do think that there is someone for everyone. I find I think those silly things like it is fated. So my personal view may be a bit Pollyanna, but I am comfortable with it because I find it motivates me to be more romantic towards my girlfriend and she has no complaints it does.......LOL

There's probably everyone for someone instead. A lingering look. A tan line on her shoulders. A Carhart hat with shades propped on the bill. A smile that won't quit. A moon and june and a Farris wheel

And the dizzy dancing way you feel
As every fairy tale comes real
I've looked at love that way.

But now it's just another show
I leave em' laughing when I go
And if you care, don't let them know.
I've looked at love that way.

And it's illusion I recall. I really don't know love at all.

I never see in the dark glass. I never see face to face. And the "everyone" drops in number like dominos every time.

Joni mitchell had everyone lol

Im sorry that you have this dilemma

I think many singles have this familiar thing where everyone else they know is pairing off and they feel left out of the whole marriage show

and you are going pick me pick me

I remember one guy at church went up and announced to the entire congregation that he was looking for that 'special someone' and that he wanted everyone to pray for him

while that is brave I cant see myself doing that...
besides, for most women they not looking at marriage like its a slave market and you walk around parading your goods hoping some one will bid on you...but that can be exactly what its like

You seem to ignore God's power.Adam and Eve.
