As strange as it may seem, there are scriptures we typically overlook, suggesting that God has wings; not a wing, such as 'take you under his wing', but wings, plural!

Psalm 57:1

1{To the chief Musician, Altaschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave.} Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

Psalm 91:4

4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psalm 36:7

7How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Psalm 17:8

8Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

Psalm 61:4

4I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Psalm 63:7

7Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Ruth 2:12

12The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

Jeremiah 49:22

22Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Matthew 23:37 and Luke 13:34
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed
to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing."

It’s showing an image we can understand like an eagle covers over her chicks and protects them the mama eagle is thier fefuge and shelter

Its showing how God desires to treat his people man is made in his image and likeness and Jesus is his image in full

Does God have wings?
Maybe. Maybe not. Certainly it's not anything He couldn't or wouldn't do but our only experience of God on a personal level is Jesus Christ and miracles throughout history.
David, pouring his love and heart out to God in Psalms is not evidence that God has wings and like others said, it's figurative speech not literal speech.
"Keep me under your wings" means Protect me. Save me. Shield me. Hug me.
Anything but literal wings i would think.

Now they will say He has a beak and lays eggs.

Wings (kānāp̄) in the scripture you cited is actually the border of garments.

Since God is spirit… which we can’t see or touch …However throughout the Word He (God) will attribute man’s characteristics to Himself…. Which is the figure of speech Anthropopatheia or condescension. ... which includes human passions, actions, or attributes.

Gospel of John, Chapter 4: 24) God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Do you believe spirits have wings? Why would they need them? Angels (when they appear here on earth) are described as having wings, but Jesus (when He took upon Himself the form of man) did not. As well, on the Mount of Transfiguration, neither Jesus, nor Moses or Eilas are described as having wings.

(excerpt from search "does God have wings)

God is metaphorically depicted as having wings in many references in the Psalms, which symbolize protection123. However, we extrapolate from Genesis 1:27 that God does not have literal wings, but offers protection to His people12. The carved images of cherubim above the mercy seat extend this concept of protection and shelter2. According to the Savior, his wings are for nurture and connection, but this is all symbolic language4

I agree with this statement. You may believe as you wish.

Amen

“Behold, the Lord GOD will come with strong hand, and his arm shall rule for him: behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him. He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:34‬ ‭

“Like as a father pitieth his children,

So the LORD pitieth them that fear him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭103:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:12‬ ‭

The Bible uses earthly metaphors to communicate spiritual messages we understand how a shepherd is to his sheep , how a father is to his children , how a hen is to her chicks ….we understand fruit trees and farming gardening and money matters we understand court systems ect he uses those things man dies grasp to communicate those things we don’t understand until we begin to hear him

I think the language might just be communicating things about God using imagery, for lack of a better word.
