Does God Judge Countries and Peoples Today?

I believe so. Sometimes to shake people up. Sometimes what we call natural disasters are judgement.
I also believe God judges on an individual scale and will promote or demote an individual into whatever position He wants them to be. I remember a prophecy at a large church meeting where a UK MP was present. A prophecy came in to tell the prime minister at the time to turn and seek Him and do His will God would remove him from his position. Not that long after, he lost the next election (He had not been in power for that long). It was sad to see this happen and hope he has turned to the Lord since.
I also believe God can restore and heal the land and peoples that turn to Him. We see things from our limited thinking. God sees the eternal outcome!

God definitely appoints people to positions of authority. I believe that God does indeed judge countries but it seems to be a slow process as to how time is perceived.
 
yes, I think God judges nations.

at the same time,
acts 17:26 He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons,

and the boundaries of their dwellings

Yes, the Lord is always watching us, trying to guide us (but are we listening to him?). But I don't think of judgment so much as the Lord judging us, as I do our getting ourselves into difficult situations because we disobey the Lord and refuse to follow him.
