Does God Kill People in the New Covenant?

I grow in Christ, by feeding on His Word and obeying it. Can you tell a difference in a child's growth in one day? No, but can you tell a difference in a decade (10 years)? Yes. In the same way, those who have been warming church pews for fifty years, yet are no different, no more like Christ than before, are not growing in Christ. People can definitely see a difference in me compared to years ago, they make comments. I quit smoking, I'm more patient, I've grown much in the knowledge of the Word. I sin less and less instead of the same or more. I'm getting better at self-control, and the other fruits of the Spirit. I am becoming more and more like Christ. I do not use Christ's blood as a license to sin, but rather put sin to death in my life, and if it don't work, I try try again. I do not wish to break God's heart, but to obey Him- even to the point of dying for Him if needs be.

I fell the same way about G-d, some different fruit... I still smoke but have been divorced for 13 years have not had sex for 8 years. I wait on hand and foot my 80 year old father who cannot walk and wipe my 75 year old mother's butt who has MS and is diapers. All day long people can compare... But I think you hit the nail on the head about we do not want to break Daddy's heart...

We can not look at what people do/ don't do for salvation... G-d looks upon the heart!!!

Well yeah, the heart and the obedience of the Word. Intentions are important for sure, and sometimes even the deciding factor. But the bible does warn "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." (hell) And also, the man who caught the ark of the covenant to keep it from falling had good intentions, but died instantly because he was told only a Levite could touch it. We need to have our heart right, but most importantly we need to do what He says. "Not everyone who calls Me Lord, but only those who do the Will of My Father."

Of couse I don't, but i try, and like I said before, I do grow in Christ. Christians do visit sin, but they do not live in sin. Let me give you an example... a man goes to a new years eve party, they convince him to toast, he sips his drink, after a while they refill it, again and again. At some point he realises he's drunk. It is a sin- he didn't make sure not to get drunk. He is remorseful and makes plans in his head of how he will avoid that sin next time. This is a visited sin, covered by Christ's blood.

Another man goes to buy a bunch of beer for the weekend (premeditated sin). He plans to get drunk with his buddies, as he does every weekend. This is living in sin, and is not covered by Christ's blood. This is someone who thinks they are saved just because they go to church on Sundays, when in reality he is not a Christian but a drunkard.

"But if you sin willfully (premeditated without goal and effort to stop) there no longer remains a sacrifice for your sins."
 
I believe Ananias and Sapphira committed the unforgivable sin, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.. It wasn't that they held back some of the money, but that they lied against God's Holy Spirit

So let's narrow this down...

The worst people in the world (never-repentant murderers, kidnappers, rapists, etc) will they be saved? No. What about people who are kind but do not believe (athiests)? No. What about those who believe in God but refuse to go to church? No. What about those who believe in God, go to church faithfully, but live worldly outside of church? No. What about those who are faithful whether they are in church or not, they carry their cross daily and follow Christ, even to the point of death? Yes- only these few.

Therefore, Christians might be God's people, but not all of God's people will be saved- only those who do the Will of the Father- which is to obey the Son. So yes, God can kill early those who He knows will not make it to heaven- such as Ananias, and Saphira. Many are called to be Christians, but of them only a few are chosen for heaven. God called His people (the israélites) out of Egypt. But of the 600,000+ of them, only two were saved. "Many are called, but few are chosen."

Why don't you give scripture to back this up....What you're saying does not agree with the bible at all.

22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

So...There are three verses for you to start you off. Now! You give me one verse, just one verse that tells me that Jesus did not come to save ALL people.

The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The Corinthian brothers who had corrupted the Lord's supper <--some were sickly and SOME fell ASLEEP!

I don't know about that, but they did lie. They did not even mention the Holy Spirit...I believe that when they lied, they opened themselves up to the destroyer and he destroyed them. I still believe they went to heaven though. I don't believe they blasphemed the Holy Spirit, but if they had said we sold our house and here is most of the money, we're keeping the rest, it would have been fine. They were not compelled to give it all. When they lied though, they stepped out of the light, and into the dark, that's where the monsters live.

Yup All are called, but why are they not chosen. Here again is a case of using a verse, or a part of one to build a doctrine.
Matthew 22:10-15 (CJB)
10 The slaves went out into the streets, gathered all the people they could find, the bad along with the good; and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “Now when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who wasn’t dressed for a wedding; so he asked him, 12 ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him outside in the dark!’ In that place people will wail and grind their teeth, 14 for many are invited, but few are chosen.”

15 Then the P’rushim went away and put together a plan to trap Yeshua with his own words.

Context!! LOL In those days, when Jesus was on Earth, when one was invited to a wedding, the wedding clothes were provided. So, the man was given the wedding clothes but chose to not wear them...You're invited to be with Jesus forever in Heaven and are provided with everything you need to fit in you new place...If you refuse to put on Jesus, to put on your new nature etc, you will not be chosen. Salvation is free, but it has to be Gods way...
