Matthew 22
1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4“Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
5“But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
8“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
11“But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.
13“Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14“For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
For God so loved us, that He provided a way. He did so because we needed one. It is we who wander and stray and rebel and refuse to come home. It is we who damn ourselves to Hell. Don't try to paint my Precious Lord Jesus black...

15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

15:19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Did the Father ever stop loving him? If the young man had died in the pig pen, would you say it was because the Father had stopped loving him? Jesus died on the Cross for us, yet we still have the audacity to question His love!

3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
3:11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
3:15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

I would say he gave you a very accurate account of the love of God!
The scripture says, "for God so loved the world that he gave.........."
The scripture says that God sends the rain (positive not neg.) on the just and unjust.
God is angry with sin and hates it, but he loves man that He has created in His own image.
I really like the Complacency Statement, dead on the money, imo.
It is what Christ has done that all these blessings are given!

There's a couple of Greek words for love in the Bible. One denotes fraternal
affection, bonding, and fondness while the other does not.
For example the "does not" word is in John 3:16, which tells me that God
feels sorry for people but doesn't say anything about His opinion of them as
a person.
That same word is used in Christ's command to love one's enemies; which
means we don't especially have to like them: we only have to be civil and
humane with them.

My Father likes me...He tells me so...He thinks I'm funny...He likes spending time with me...He thinks I'm special! I love Him!
I remember the day I met Him. I had messed up the life that He'd given me and as I drove to an unknown church I was trying to get my story straight...why I kept sleeping with that woman...why I abused all those drugs...why I called Him a liar and kicked Him out of my life.
Why I ended up such a broken mess. I didn't know if He would take me back. Later at church I tried to be the last person prayed for, but they did things differently and out of several hundred, I was the first person to get prayed for.
I was overwhelmed with powerful visions from God...but the last one was the one that mattered the most to me...my Father met me. He let me know that He knew everything about me and still accepted me completely and loved me unconditionally.
The only reason I can think of why is because of what Jesus did...who would do that to His own son for someone like me? Yahweh is His name!
He...is...faithful! Hallelujah!
