No, I choose to believe what God's word teaches and Solomon under inspiration of God's spirit said...TIME and CHANCE happen to all...<---doesn't alleviate that God knows all and when it will happen.....

And Job said...The very number of our months, days and years have been pre-determined by God and he has appointed bounds that we cannot pass.....

I choose to base my beliefs on proven scripture not frivolous stories made up by men that do not bear out against the scriptures....

(Matthew 6:3) Just show how he operates in different ways.

“LET us make man in our image, according to our likeness.” That divine statement is recorded in the first chapter of the Bible. Accordingly, “God proceeded to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him,” reports Genesis 1:26, 27. Thus the first human differed from all other creations on earth. He resembled his Creator, able to reflect a godlike attitude in reasoning, in demonstrating love, justice, wisdom, and power. He had the faculty of conscience to help him reach decisions that would benefit himself and please his heavenly Parent. (Romans 2:15) In short, Adam had free will. Observing the makeup of his earthly son, GOD made this assessment of his handiwork: “Look! it [is] very good.” Genesis 1:31; Psalm 95:6.

As Adam’s descendants, we too are in God’s image and likeness. However, do we really have a choice in what we do? Although GOD has the ability to know in advance what will happen, he does not predetermine our individual actions and destiny. He never allows his earthly children to be ruled by predestination. To help us grasp the importance of exercising our free will to make right choices, let us first of all learn a lesson from the nation of Israel. Romans 15:4.

How Old were you when you became Baptized?

and how Was it performed at the time of your Baptistism?

And does a baby's dedication mean that you were Baptized?

You can find a study Here on water baptism and one Here on baptism in the Holy Spirit...

Yahweh Shalom

How Old were you when you became Baptized?

And does a baby's dedication mean that you were Baptized?

Q1-A week or two old.
Q2-Christian parents and Christian wittnesses stood by while water WITH THE WORD was poured on my head.
Q3-Dedication is not baptizm. I can dedicate my car to the Lord but I'm not gonna dump water on it.

Facts:

Romans 14:1 "Now accept the one who is WEAK (don't believe in infant baptism) IN FAITH, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions. 2 One man HAS FAITH that he may eat all things (believes in infant baptism), but he who is weak eats vegetables only. 3 Let not him who eats regard with contempt him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats (believes), FOR GOD HAS ACCEPTED HIM. 4 Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; AND STAND HE WILL, for the Lord is able to make him stand. 5 One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind."

Notice how Paul allows us to have differences of opinions on various issues? His goal was to have unity in the body of Christ and at the same time to allow for differences on debatable issues.

Baptism:

Infants were circumcised and entered into covenant relationship with God in the Old Testament (Gen.12-17). Circumcision did not save the child. Who said it did?

The Abrahamic covenant under which the infants were circumcised is still valid since the Abrahamic Covenant is called the gospel in Gal. 3:8.

The Abrahamic covenant, which is still valid and which is the gospel, included infants and therefore, infants should still be included in the same covenant.

We see evidence of whole households being baptized in Acts (Acts 16:15). Therefore, at least some of these households had to include infants (just common sense), and a good Jewish convert to Christianity would not exclude his infant children from covenantal relationship with God.

The HS was poured out at Penticost and when the Son decides to implant the HS in a living person, this is totally up to Him, not us. Can be before you're born, can be when you're on your death bed, no one has the Authority to make that call except God.

And to all you vegitable eaters to say it again, I was baptized as an infant and God says I stand. End of story..

Well go tell that to Pharaoh who was a lost man...God told him...I HAVE RAISED THEE UP FOR THIS PURPOSE AND TO THIS PURPOSE WERE YOU BORN......

KEEP digging and your Genesis statement is out of context and being used to support your theory which is incorrect...

I have made the wicked for the day of destruction GOD SAID.....

ALL things were made by him and FOR HIM.......

If anyone is confused about their baptism or questioning the genuinity of it, I suggest they ask God about it, maybe your conversion was not genuine?... It happensxx

If you really have to ask, that tells me you don't study much.....

I will give you one of numerous scriptural proofs to the validity of my point.....you can look the rest up for yourself!
