John 5 begins telling us a feast of the Jews, but doesn't tell us which one. All the feasts of the Lord in the book of John are mentioned by name as well as Hanukkah, called the feast of dedication.

Then in John 6 it tells us that Passover is nigh. So the only feast of the Jews prior to Passover other than Hanukkah would be Purim.

John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Purim was an important time for the jews in remembrance to an event in 4 or 5 BC, but it is not a feast of the Lord.

Samson pushes out the pillars on a great feast to Dagon

Judges 16:23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

This is the day that Samson pushes the pillars out, that is a type and shadow of the rapture taking place at the same time the idolatrous temple collapses.

The one thing that has really bothered me about Purim is that it does not occur on a great sacrifice to Dagon. I look at both pagan festivals and Catholic festivals and there is really nothing of note.

However, a funeral of a Pope must occur 4-6 days after the death and involves 9 days of mourning. The funeral will involve a large Mass in St. Peter's Square. Suppose the Pope dies between March 8th and March 10th. Supposedly this is the "last Pope" and when the rapture takes place it causes the temple to Dagon to collapse. Imagine there is a great mass at the funeral of the Pope and that is when the rapture takes place and none of those Bishops or Cardinals are raptured. The whole world would see on TV that the Catholic church lied to them. This is like the sacrifice that Elijah made when fire fell and then they seized the 400 prophets of Baal and killed them.

I believe this is a reference to the time of the GWTJ - when all of the dead ("all that are in the graves") will be resurrected - i.e. the 'second' resurrection.

I don't see any reference to any certain date or feast that any mass bodily resurrection takes place on.

Fair enough, but it is clearly a reference to the end of the age, and certainly includes the rapture. After all the rapture takes place with the dead hearing the voice of the Lord and coming out of their graves.

Not yet, but verse 1 of Chapter 5 clearly says "After this there was a feast of the Jews", Jesus goes up to Jerusalem, and it is at this feast we hear what He says in this chapter.

Then in Chapter 6

John 6:1 After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. 2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. 3 And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. 4 And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

we learn that the passover was "nigh". The word means near in time. Hanukkah is about 3 or 4 months before the Passover and Purim is one month before the Passover. So it is understood that John 5 is referring to Purim.

The gospel of John is structured around seven feasts

In the gospel of John we have seven "I AM's", seven "witnesses", seven "signs" and seven proofs of Jesus divinity. There are also seven feasts.

In John 2 their is a wedding in Cana, this is not one of the seven feasts, but it serves as a picture of all seven feasts in one. We need to understand this gospel as a wedding. The proofs to us concerning Jesus divinity is the proof that a bride needs that Jesus "is the one".

The first feast is the feast of Passover, it is also in John 2 juxtaposed with the wedding in Cana to let us know they are one and the same. At this feast "many believed in His name when they saw the miracles that He did". This signifies the start of the church age when people first believed into Jesus and received the Spirit. John's gospel is giving us a bird's eye view of our becoming the Bride of Christ and it began at the Passover feast.

After this we have the only "anonymous" feast called "the feast of the Jews", which was Purim in Chapter 5. The miracles that Jesus did at the start of the church age were his incarnation, death, burial, resurrection and ascension. But at the end of the church age Jesus refers to doing one miracle that they all will marvel at. I believe this is a reference to the rapture. The giveaway is verse 17 where Jesus says that both He and the father are working together to bring salvation. Who are the raptured saints? Are they spectators or are they coworkers with God? Are they the lame man waiting for someone to put them into the pool like the story begins with, or have they already heard the word to rise and walk and are actively helping to build the church?

In the next chapter we see the third feast, the Passover, but this time the emphasis is on the feast of unleavened bread. I see this as a word to the tribulation saints that Jesus will supply their need. You may say, well hold on, what about all believers? Yes, if you step out in faith, you will have miraculous experiences of the Lord providing you with your daily bread. But there are many Christians who will not step out in faith, they are that lame man waiting by the pool for a revival when the angel will come down and stir the waters of the pool. Well, the rapture will do that for them, that is when they will have no choice but to rise and walk.

Then in chapter seven we have the feast of booths, that is tabernacles. What do we see here? Will He go up? Don't you know they are trying to kill Him? That sounds like the saints in the tribulation who refuse to take the mark of the beast and so will be beheaded. Again, what about everyone else in the church age? We all had to make this choice, do you stand with the Lord and get "killed"? I have had to make that choice several times. Many times I was faced with the choice, do what is right and lose your job or go along with everyone else. Well when you get to the tribulation it will be the last time you are faced with that choice, because this time if you go along with everyone else you can no longer be saved.

Then at the end of chapter seven you have the great day of the feast, technically the day after the Feast of Tabernacles. Come unto Me and drink all ye who thirst. This is the amazing resurrection. You stand with the Lord, all is lost, you are going to die, and then miraculously you experience the outstanding resurrection of the Lord. Everyone is given this choice, but in the tribulation you get this choice for the last time. You will be faced with the guillotine, you will be beheaded, but the minute you are you will be standing on the glassy sea praising the Lord.

Then in chapter 10 you have the feast of Dedication. Basically the rededication of the Jews after they had failed and fallen to temptation. Again, anyone who has sinned and then been saved has experienced dedicating themselves to the Lord. We are all to be consecrated fully to the Lord. But the last time this will take place will be at the middle of the tribulation when Antichrist sets himself up in the Holy Place and all the genuine Jews realize "Oops, we made a big mistake" and must flee Jerusalem.

Then in chapter 11 we have the last Passover. We are reminded that Jesus ministry lasted three years. Once again we see Jesus being examined and then taking up His cross and being crucified. In the Christian life we go from one cross to the next, with each one getting more and more serious. In this way our faith builds that this is a process. You stand strong for the Lord, you are mocked, ridiculed, insulted, accused, convicted and ultimately crucified, but then you relax. You are at peace, from here on it is God that will do the rest and three days later you are coming out of the grave experiencing the outstanding resurrection power. This will also happen for one last time with the Jews when they see Jesus descending in glory and great power to deliver them from Antichrist's armies at Armageddon.

So then if we look at the Christian life in this way Purim is the "feast of the Jews", the feast of the people of faith who followed the Lord in the church age and who are raptured and lifted up as the work of the Lord that will cause all men to marvel.

What a perfect time to have the rapture and expose these phony baloney prophets.

1 Kings 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table.

This is also a picture of the rapture where fire falls from heaven and then the false prophets are all gathered together at the same time and then killed. This is another picture of this great sacrifice to Dagon, but here in 1 Kings 18 we see it isn't a pagan holiday or a Catholic holiday, it is God calling them to this feast. That is what happens when God calls someone home, He is the one in charge of when their funeral will be. This is the big sign. I thought that Valentine's day aligned with a number of the prophecies and it did, but not this one. The prophets of Baal indicate the leaders of the Catholic church and the prophets of the grove that eat at Jezebel's table, those are the leaders of denominational churches that have been infiltrated by FreeMasons on the board of directors. Elijah slays the prophets of Baal and we know that the Beast will hate the prostitute that rides the beast and slay her. Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

This is what bothered me about the rapture, it needs to be done in such a way that it is crystal clear to all who the false prophets are. We are told in the Bible that Matthew 24:24 there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. We also know that the followers of the Lord are likened to sheep, not exactly the smartest animals on the planet. So then, Jesus as the Good Shepherd needs to do something so the sheep are very clear who is trying to deceive them. This is what Elijah is doing in 1 Kings 18. He knows the prophets of Baal have been deceiving them so God tells him to do this sacrifice so all will know who is true and who is false. I thought maybe the Lord will rapture us during a church service and then you will see some church parking lots are full of cars afterwards and some aren't. That would be like a testimony of who got raptured and who didn't. But, you can't do this during a church service because at any given moment there are 24 hours on earth, so it wouldn't be universally obvious to everyone on Earth.

But, if you gather all the prophets of Baal and prophets of the grove together in one place and live stream it right at the time of the rapture, well then, we would have a video record showing none of them were raptured and they lied to us. If they are all caught not being raptured what are they going to say? They will have no choice but to claim only "evil" people were raptured and since infants will also be taken everyone will know that is false and the liars will be exposed. Also, this would explain why the Beast would hate the prostitute (why would the new world order hate Catholics since they are working together?). That is not why the Beast hates her, he hates her because she has been exposed as a liar and if he doesn't kill her he will go down with her. Why do mafiosos kill each other? Why does Michael Corleone kill Fredo? Often it is your closest friend that kills you. Why? If someone makes a mistake that threatens the whole operation they kill them, simple.

So if we look at Samson pushing out the pillars it is at a great sacrifice to Dagon. If we look at fire falling from the heavens we see that at this great sacrifice you have all the prophets assembled of both Baal and the prophets of the grove, the ones who eat at Jezebel's table. Initially I thought if it is a sacrifice to Dagon then it is a pagan Holiday. But you would never have all the phony religious prophets assembled at one place on Christmas or Easter because they have their own services to take care of. We also learn that it is God that calls this gathering together, not Dagon or some other pagan god. Then it hit me, if you have the death of a Pope, at the funeral all the religious leaders from around the globe will be invited and the funeral will be held in St. Peter's Square and it will be live streamed for the whole world to see! What a perfect time to have the rapture and expose these phony baloney prophets.

Isn't that what we see on Purim, the phony Haman and his sons impaled for all to see?

Could very well be, however it all turns out, Father and I are one thanks to Son, for me at least in humility, not soever say I am perfect only father is perfect even according to Jesus

I agree, based on the story of Samson and Elijah it is no more than a guess to say that the event that would draw them all together is a funeral.

But, let's add another type and shadow of the rapture, Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus is the New Testament version of Eleazar, Abraham's servant who went and got Isaac a bride. He was a close friend of Jesus as were his two sisters. So then to the world who is supposed to be a closer friend of Jesus than the Pope?

Anyway, this event takes place near to the Passover, but right before it, as does Purim. This event is what causes the Palm Sunday greeting of Jesus when He enters Jerusalem and it is the event that tells the evil rulers they must kill Jesus or else the whole world will follow Him. Also there is a perfect symmetry with John 5, Lazarus is in the grave, he hears the voice of the Lord and he comes out.

So then we can clearly see in this shadow of the rapture the death of Jesus close friend precedes this by four days and this is what brings Jesus to Bethany and where He is when the rapture takes place.

What struck me was that the practice is to have the funeral for the Pope four days after he dies. Is that coincidence? I don't believe in coincidence, I believe in a sovereign God that tells us the end from the beginning.

Now during the rapture many who are in the graves will come out of them and the whole world will see. But what about the Popes? If possible they would lie to you, but if you are at the funeral of a Pope and that is live streamed you would see for yourself that he does not come out of the grave. Based on Revelation 17:16 I believe there is no way for the Catholic church to lie about this and that is why the Antichrist and Beast system will burn them with fire and devour their flesh.

thank you for your view you are given to see, love it
No matter, better to be in with Father and Son over it all is it not?

Be ready in season and out of season to express your joy in the lord.like as the jail help saw in Paul who was jailed and still praised God over it all. The Jail help were comping too belief. Not by preaching, by showing contentment in all things, whether good or bad was happening to him

In the Old Testament God said that He tells us the end from the beginning and that is the proof that He is God because He alone can do this. Therefore, it is a glory to God that these prophecies are fulfilled and it will put all those who rejected Jesus to an open shame.

For example: Proverbs 7:19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: 20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

This term "the day appointed" can refer to an appointed feast and it can also refer to a full moon. Purim is both.

Not part of the teaching though. That's just what came next in the real world.

The Latter rain is in the first month

Joel 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

The latter rain comes down in the first month. That is Nisan. This is a reference to the revival that will take place at the end of the age, similar to the revival at the time of Pentecost after the Lord's resurrection and ascension. This indicates the rapture is before Nisan. The reason I have never liked the Feast of weeks for the rapture is because there are many verses like this that don't fit. This verse tells you the revival that takes place after the rapture is in Nisan.

Now let's compare this with John 5 where the Lord tells the lame man to rise, take up his bed and walk. There are a lot of Christians who are spectators. In most churches all the ministry is done by 20% of the members. Now after the rapture all those who have been spectators will be forced to rise up and walk. This is what leads to the revival, just as after Jesus rose from the dead and ascended the disciples rose up.

Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day?

2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel. 3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

Elijah going up in a chariot is a type of the rapture. These types all reveal something about the rapture. They are like photographs and if you put them all together you get a fuller picture. Samson pushes out the pillars on a great sacrifice to Dagon. I understand the worship of Dagon to be connected to the Catholic church since the hat the priests of Dagon wore are the same as the hat the Pope wears. Then when Elijah calls down fire to clear up the confusion between the worship of Baal and the worship of the true God we see 400 prophets of Baal and 450 prophets that sit at the table of Jezebel all assembled. We would not see that on Christmas or Easter, the leaders of the Catholic church and the Denominational churches would all be in their locality on these days. However, the funeral of a Pope would call them all to be gathered together in St. Peter's Square and that funeral would be seen as a great sacrifice to Dagon. Now when Jesus raised Lazarus he had been in the grave for four days. The funeral of a Pope takes place 4-6 days after they die. So this also helps confirm that this event is probably the funeral of a Pope. I am not saying that the Pope will be raptured, again when Elijah calls down fire the prophets of Baal have sacrificed a bull. So he would be their sacrifice. Elijah's sacrifice would be all the people of faith over the last four thousand years since the time of Abraham. So when we put this altogether once we hear of the pope dying and they set the date for the funeral we would know the day of the rapture. Granted there have been 112 Popes, but we have been given the Prophecy of the Popes by Saint Malachi, so that helps us to realize we are talking about this particular Pope. Other signs like the Writing on the Wall sign also let us know it will be this March. So now we can look at this story with Elijah being taken up and realize all the genuine prophets of God knew the day Elijah would be raptured. That is my point from this story. According to the types and shadows when the day of the rapture comes those who have been carefully studying these things will know. Two thousand years ago they didn't know, and even two hundred years ago they didn't know, but when the day comes we will know just as Noah knew to enter the ark and Lot knew to get out of Sodom.

4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the Lord hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. 5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Lord will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

By the testimony of two or three witnesses let a thing be established. In both places, the place of consecration and the place of overcoming the fear to speak we get this testimony. This establishes the fact that those who are fully consecrated to the Lord and are witnesses of Him will know the day of the rapture.

They start at Gilgal. That is where the 12 stones are that they set up when they crossed the Jordan river. It is a place of consecration. Jericho was the first city that Israel had to defeat to enter the good land. It signifies censorship. The first hurdle we must all overcome is our fear of speaking for the Lord. The city has a curse on it, so it also signifies those who are in the world, living under a curse, and they can be saved by Jesus who became a curse for us. We see this also as it is almost forbidden to talk about the rapture, and if you do talk about it you definitely cannot say the day when the rapture will be.

6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the Lord hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.

The Jordan river is an obstacle, but if you have faith you can overcome that obstacle. That is a key lesson that Elisha needs to learn. Crossing the Jordan depicts freedom from oppression, deliverance, to have your bonds broken. It is a line that separates the good land from the wilderness. Do not think that you will cross this line when you are raptured, you must cross it first so that you can be raptured.

9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.

Elisha is said to represent the tribulation saints while Elijah represents the saints in the church age. This double portion indicates a great revival during the tribulation, a time of miracles.

10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.

Being a witness of the rapture is critical for this revival. Right now there is so much confusion, everyone has a different understanding of the Bible. We see through a glass darkly, so in some respects this is understandable. But we also have false prophets, deceivers, Satan disguising himself as an angel of light, etc. This verse here tells us something critical, we must see that all those religious leaders are gathered in one spot and they are not raptured. That will eliminate all confusion that they can sow. But you also need to know those who are raptured and see them raptured. That way you will know who was telling you the truth and who was lying to you. They get a double portion of the Spirit because you eliminate all that deception, all that deceit and all that confusion.

11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

If thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so

Isn't it amazing that Matthew, Mark and Luke do not record Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead? This is the strongest evidence there is that Matthew, Mark and Luke have different agendas written to the three groups (raptured saints, left behind saints and Jews as a nation). Luke is telling you the story of those who are raptured before the tribulation. Their story goes right up to the moment they are raptured. The last thing we read is "they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen" (and then they were not, just like Enoch walked with God and then was not). Mark begins after the rapture, and so the baptism of Jesus was the rapture event and when they were thrust out into the wilderness to fast and pray with Jesus. With Matthew the rapture took place three years before they repented and said blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord. We see it in Chapter 3 of Matthew

16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

By the time they are repenting they are admitting this.

Only John gives us the bird's eye view that God has, and only in that gospel can we see the rapture taking place when Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead.

4 different accounts of the Rapture in the Gospels

In John the pre-trib rapture is when Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

In Luke it isn't there, they like Enoch walk with God and then are not.

they were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen

In Mark it is compared to being baptized with Jesus and then having to flee into the wilderness for forty days of fasting and praying.

Mark 1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: 11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 12 And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

This clears up any confusion about who were the ones God was well pleased with. It also indicates that the Latter rain comes forty days (we see this later in chapter 1 of Mark) after the rapture and since we know that the latter rain comes in the first month of Nisan then we know the rapture was 40 days before that.

In Matthew the Jews remember this event as God speaking that "this is my beloved Son, hear Him".

Matthew 3:6 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
