It was God who said the kge which they had chosen told them they were guilty before God for staying unclothed in God's most holy presence.

God only asked who told them they were naked.

God did not command them either to wear or not wear clothes, and did not condemn their clothes or lack of clothes.

Gen3:11: "And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

Notice that God asked who told him.
God did not ask, 'how did you figure out you are naked?'

Do you think God is stupid?
Does He ask the wrong questions?
Or does God choose His words carefully?

So who told Adam he was naked?

Do you think God is stupid?

Gen3:11: "And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

Before they had the forbidden knowledge of good & evil, it did not tell them they were morally guilty of staying unclothed in God's most holy presence.

God only asked who told them they were naked.

God did not command them either to wear or not wear clothes, and did not condemn their clothes or lack of clothes.

God's question was followed by the clarification as to who told them they were morally guilty of staying unclothed in God's most holy presence.

Gen3:11: "And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

God answers His question with a question that it was the indeed the forbidden knowledge of good & evil which told them they were morally guilty.

Give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus

God never tells disobedient people to thank for those which are not blessings but tells disobedient people to repent & believe they are delivered from the forbidden knowledge of good & evil through faith in Christ's sacrifice (Rom7:6).

God did not curse humans.

When God cursed someone He says 'you are cursed'

You will find in Genesis 3 that He curses Satan, and for Adam's sake He curses the ground.

Do not despise His chastening. It is good that we work - that's not a curse but for our benefit.

When God chastens, He expects repentance rather than rationalisations.

Works done to remember Christ's sacrifice which delivered us from the forbidden kge is good. Apart from that works are meaningless.

they are delivered

Blessed is the one whom God corrects;
so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty!
For He wounds, but He also binds up;
He injures, but His hands also heal.
(Job 5:17-18)
Adam & Eve are saved.
they repented, and believed, and God gave them the promise of Christ
our momentary affliction is incomparable with the eternal weight of glory

He gave them salvation, not a curse.

God sent them out of the garden for their benefit - He keeps the way to the tree of life, until The Redeemer should come.

God chastens
teach us to number our days,
that we may gain a heart of wisdom
(Psalm 90:12)
God's chastening is not a curse.
He disciplines everyone He loves, and all He accepts as His children
rejoice in it -
give thanks in all things - this is His will for you in Christ

He expects repentance

why does Adam call his wife 'Eve' when he hears God's discipline and the protoevangelion?
why does God choose this moment to by His own hand clothe them with the shedding of the blood of an innocent lamb and say
'
Behold! Adam has become like one of Us' ?

If the Spirit or scripture instruct us to be clothed in public why didn't the Spirit or scripture instruct Adam and Eve to be clothed in public in God's most holy presence?

Everyone execept Isaiah.

Isaiah 20:2-4 reads: “At the same time spake the Lord by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.

You haven't quoted a single verse to prove your theory of 'HIS covering'.
And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden, God stationed the cherub angels and a flaming sword,
which turned in every direction, to guard the way to the tree of life.
Genesis 3:21,24

Let’s put it this way, I’m glad people are clothed in public. Can you image. Yikes! 😩
When I was a child, my family was in a cult known as the sextons, who often went to nudist camps. Most people were ugly, out of shape and overweight.
I don't want to gouge my eyes out. Face it, there are many people including myself you do not want to see naked. In a rape case where a young lady wears very sexy clothes in my day, the rapist got off from the charges too often.

1 Timothy 2:9

I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes,

Proverbs 11:2

Proud and boastful people will be shamed, but wisdom stays with those who are modest and humble.

Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious. For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, by submitting to their own husbands,

Ate you saying God was not wise in creating humans without clothing & without the knowledge of good and evil?
