Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same resolve…inorder to live the remaining time in the flesh, no longer for human desires, butfor God’s will.
1Peter 4:1, 2 (HCSB)

Jesus Christ is said to have suffered more than any human being who has ever existed on this Earth. He was beaten severely until His flesh tore, nailed to a splinter-filled wooden cross, mocked and ridiculed by His own people, and for a time, separated from His Father God. Yet, He stayed on the cross because He loved us so much to bear all of our sins.

Following Jesus Christ is challenging in this present world. In some parts of the world, Christians are being killed for their faith. And yet, we whine when we are ridiculed by individuals who do not believe. It is time that we develop some spiritual backbone and endure suffering just like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did. Let us continue to do God's will even if we are mocked for our faith.

May God bless you today and every day.

This is challenging to read but true! Often when I complain of this or that, I'm reminded of what Jesus endured. It's hard to continue complaining at that point. You're right, there are Christians who are suffering a great deal right now. We should remember them in our prayers and appreciate the comforts we enjoy, if we're blessed enough to have them. Thank you for sharing.
