We see this with our leftists guests in the news section of the forum whom we both enjoy very much in this season.

They can’t communicate anymore because …. What if they found out they were wrong?

That would be terrible for their identities which they borrowed from someone else.

I can do the verse vs verse thing too.
With one eye closed and a hand tied behind my back if I might add but in your case you might even use The Bible like many men and women before you, as a way to bully people.
The true message of the Bible is freedom not fear among other messages such as accountability which you can’t own up to in post 85.

"Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me. Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men."

This verse is a prayer for God’s protection and deliverance from all adversaries who seek harm. It expresses trust in God as a defender who shields His people from wickedness and violence.

Another related verse is Psalm 35:1 (KJV 1611):

"Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me."

This psalm pleads for God to take up the cause and fight on behalf of the believer against their enemies. It reassures that God is the ultimate protector who can overcome all opposition

Our brother Eli is certainly not possessed, as hes filled with the Spirit of God, God will not fellowship with demons. This is our Brother youre talking about here.

Neither is he cowardly. I see a trend here, someone accuses you of something, rather than defending your character with evidence, you post scripture. This scripture has very little to do with the situation at hand, and you weaponize it to demonize your own family in Christ.

How about you consider if anything he is saying is true? Maybe it is or isnt, but he has a grievance. If he is right about any of it, consider repenting with humility. If not, you can still respond kindly with helpful words of clarity.

Hes concerned that youre using scripture as a weapon, hes concerned youre abusing people, hes concerned youre comtroling.

It seems that some of these are potentially true. Weigh them. This doesnt make you evil, it just means you need help and repentance. Change is always possible.

It seems you weaponize scripture to demonize your fellow family members, this is possibly done to control the narritive. It also appears you logged into your daughters account, which there is evidence for. Why were you in her account? These things could be seen as potentially abusive.

Is it possible that throughout your life of dealing with abusers you unintentionally picked up abusive tendencies?

Im not saying you are or arent, im just asking you to consider rather than simply pointing fingers.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is vital to understand the disturbing realities behind child sexual abuse to best protect your children. Research shows that individuals who sexually abuse children often do not genuinely love or care for their victims. Their actions stem from deep psychological dysfunction, distorted thinking, and sometimes unresolved trauma from their own pasts. Many offenders lack empathy and see children only as objects to satisfy their needs rather than as real persons deserving of love and respect.

Child molesters may rationalize or justify their behavior with cognitive distortions and often act out of a need for control or power rather than affection. This underscores why vigilance and proactive protection are crucial.

As caregivers, your role in watching for warning signs of abuse in children is essential. Changes in behavior, unexplained injuries, fearfulness, withdrawal, or inappropriate sexual knowledge can all be indicators of abuse.

Stay close to your children, especially if they are in vulnerable environments like hospitals or childcare. Trust your instincts, maintain open communication, and do not hesitate to seek help if you suspect abuse. Your attentive presence and knowledge can make a life-saving difference.

Sincerely,
Domestic Violence Support and Safety Forum

This letter is based on studies from psychological research on child abusers and abuse prevention experts.

Dear Mothers and Women Everywhere,

It is with deep concern and care that this letter reaches you today. Recent heartbreaking cases have emerged where children in hospitals or childcare settings have suffered abuse at the hands of those entrusted with their care. For mothers who have children hospitalized, especially those who are very ill, it is crucial to stay close to your child whenever possible. Your constant presence is the strongest shield against potential harm.

If your children attend childcare, be vigilant about changes in their behavior or physical health. Signs of possible abuse may include unexplained bruises or bleeding, frequent complaints of pain (especially in genital areas), nightmares, bedwetting, withdrawal, aggressive behavior, fearfulness, sudden changes in appetite or sleep, or knowledge of sexual behaviors inappropriate for their age. Children may also act secretive, fearful of certain people, or regress to infantile behaviors like thumb-sucking.

Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, ask questions and seek support from medical professionals, child protective services, or hotlines specializing in abuse prevention and assistance. Your awareness and vigilance can prevent lasting harm and deliver protection.

Together, let's commit to protecting the most vulnerable among us by staying informed, present, and proactive as caregivers.

With heartfelt concern and solidarity for all mothers and women,

Domestic Violence Support and Safety Forum.
This message is informed by recent cases and expert guidance on child abuse signs and prevention.

The number of child molesters or perpetrators of child abuse within hospitals is indeed considered to be higher than what is officially reported, reflecting significant underreporting in medical settings. Research shows that hospitals and healthcare providers often fail to report many cases of suspected child maltreatment. For example, about two-thirds of children under three with maltreatment-related hospitalizations are not reported to Child Protective Services (CPS), despite mandated reporting laws. Studies also indicate that healthcare providers sometimes miss or do not act on sentinel injuries that could signal abuse.

Underreporting stems from factors like lack of training, fear of legal repercussions, bias, systemic gaps, or uncertainty about the signs of abuse. This underreporting means that many cases of child abuse, including sexual abuse by hospital staff or others, remain hidden and uninvestigated.

In summary, while exact numbers of child molesters working in hospitals are not available, studies confirm the problem is larger than official figures suggest due to widespread underreporting. Mandated reporting laws aim to address this, but challenges remain in detection and reporting within healthcare. Increased training, awareness, and multidisciplinary child protection teams in hospitals are recommended to improve reporting and child safety.

This emphasizes the importance of vigilance, strong institutional policies, and support systems for healthcare professionals to act effectively on suspicions of child abuse.

There is a traditional Chinese saying that warns if a young person leaves their schoolwork to pursue only pleasure or a "good time," they are likely to continue choosing this path throughout their life. This proverb reflects the value placed on discipline, responsibility, and education in many Asian cultures, emphasizing that habits formed in youth tend to shape a person's future behavior and character.

In Chinese culture, education is seen as the foundation for success and moral development. The idea is that neglecting duty or education early on can lead to lifelong difficulties or poor choices. It underscores the importance of self-control, perseverance, and prioritizing long-term goals over short-term enjoyment.

Such sayings are part of a broader cultural emphasis on the youth taking responsibility seriously as they carry the hopes of their families and society. While phrased differently in various regions, these proverbs encourage focus and dedication, warning that early patterns often become lifelong habits.

This wisdom can inspire young people and parents alike to foster good habits and support positive life choices.
Sincerely,

I think the OP cares about one thing, themselves. Anyone that disagrees or seems to question their POV they flat out ignore. They don't want a discussion. They want to post their opinions period. Pity. I would have been a good discussion to have. But that takes maturity. And ignoring people for simply asking a question is immature. And in a way, abusive.

So much irony,

This form allows victims to share important details about their situation, including the type of abuse, frequency of incidents, and any immediate safety concerns.

Yes I think it is important to raise awareness which was the intent of the thread.

More irony!!!
I agree with her goals here, and I dont believe she should be shut down. I think we should all have a place to share our thoughts respectfully, in any thread as long as its nostly on topic. Respectfully, Brother Eli, I do think you can come off a little rough around the edges. This isnt abusive or controling though. If I were you I would adress that, because it seems to me as it can distract what you are saying. But thats perfectly up to you.

Since this post is about abuse, Eli considered highlighting some he has seen from the thread owner. Its a bold move, but seeing the lack of accountability taken after some actual evidence, I understand why hes upset. I do think we could all take notes here!

Im sure ive made some mistakes as well. Nobody is perfect at communicating. I do make sure to voice my likes about these people, Branch is very noble for doing this, its a good thing that shes sticking up for abuse survivors. As for Eli, hes a great Dad and he is sticking up for friends who have been effected by Branches actions. This is good as well. Hopefully Branch can consider why some might be offended. And if Branch has any grievances in actual words that can clearly be explained to Eli, hopefully rather than getting defensive and calling him posessed. Then he can consider them kindly and weigh them in his heart.

Nobody likes to be critiqued, but sometimes it needs to happen, and a lot of the time theres great truth to it.

These are some of my thoughts

Yeah thats not ideal. I think that he deems people as liberals for a specific reason though. And this isnt great! I do not think making assumptions about people without evidence is great, however even I am guilty of it.

It seems to me anytime he has deemed someone a Liberal its because they take offense easily, try to control others, have a lack of logic when reasoning, take the Bible unliterally, or hate the right without proper reasoning or research.

Youre not wrong, but im sure if you asked him yourself, he could give you reasons on why he thinks people are leftist. Not to say the deserve whatever "open season" counts as.

I did see genuine evidence of Branches potential abuse, I say potential because we don't know, and I ask that she humble herself as low as she can and see with fresh eyes. If she has been controlling or abusive, she needs correction. This isn't even a bad thing. We all need correction. Like my husband and I go to pastoral Marriage counseling, we both need adjustment at times. I believe its helpful to correct others, because its helpful to be corrected. Often times we cant see what others see. It just take humility to see from their eyes and change. But also, we need gentleness , reasoning, logic and evidence to verify why we need to change. Otherwise we could fall into abusive territory.

The concept in law of "clean hands" has application here, the critics came into the thread not to discuss but with personal motives so nothing they had to say on the topic which had merit and it was of no value.

And that is all that I am going to say on it, along with Branch is no longer a member.
